There are very new comers haven’t enough experience to submit a submission.
In contest description everything was clear about submission requirements but it seems that contestants doesn’t read contest conditions carefully and they oftenly made mistakes.
It will be better to add some extra guidelines for correct submission of contest in contest description itself.
I agree reqs were clear. Maybe it is not enough for newcomers.
One more conclusion, new prize system (by the way, I think it is better than 1,2,3 places) provokes people make more submissions. And the works are often similar or use one idea.
I’m very sad to see it. I was angry at first. Then I hoped that the community would listen. But now it’s sad. It turns out that it was possible to simply “steal qualitatively”. Or be a friend of Kabanov.
I wasted a few days. I would like more-the timing did not allow. Let’s do it without insults. You are a master of high-quality stock image stealing. And someone is a master of drawing by hand for several days.
Perhaps you should try participating in contests for other projects. Now many are doing this. In this sense, Free TON is not one of a kind. But in Free TON everything is already “busy”. The same thing happens in the main jury and in the subgovernance. And nobody wants to change anything. They give crystals to scammers (in the form of a partnership), but in order to make a distribution to their supporters - this is not allowed by the project policy. Well, in general, it is very interesting here.
I have always understood that a competition is not the best idea for those who want an honest assessment. But for some reason, I expected something different from FreeTon. I don’t know why (maybe I believed in a Christmas miracle, lol).
I did not expect a high evaluation of my work, but the first votes of the jury inspired me. I thought, “Wow, they definitely appreciate talent here!” But then the points started to behave strangely. I looked at the scores of certain works… I see: 10, 10, 9, 10… Boom - 1. Wtf?
Another thing that confused me: there was a competition about the jury (link). Something from here was used?
And why do “rejected” and “abstained” not affect the average score in any way? According to the table, “rejected” = “abstained” = “did not vote at all”.
It turned out that 1 point is worse than " reject".
we can’t expect reward for just participating in a contest. This is a very successful contest in Free TON history with some fair experiments and most distributed reward system.
I think you saw the file in figma where a lot of work was done to collect all the works in a convenient form by Mr. Mzonder, to which we all are very grateful. But also a lot of time was spent on finding stock solutions, what was noted in the file. So I think it would be great if the contestants who saw that the work is not marked as stock showed activity and helped in this, for you it would be like eliminating a competitor.
Regarding the contest, I think that a lot of work has been done for the useless goal to be honest. The only plus is that many designers have heard about this competition, but also faced with the problems of judging in our network, alas, here something should be updated.
And regarding to further contests, as for me, we should focus on goals and contests from the roadmap of our subgovernance
Хотя я не выиграл в контесте, мою открытку выложили в Телеграм-канале Free TON News.
