This is my idea for this contest:

1. Brand Master program description.

My suggestion is to create a decentralized system of teams competing with each other for rewards and building community trust.

I propose to use the infrastructure that we already have: contests and active jury. This will speed up the launch of the project and will not divert precious developer attention.

According to my idea, two contests are held once a month:

  1. applying for the event;
  2. a report on an already held event.

That is, Brand Masters contests will be created on a monthly basis. Teams wishing to participate provide their analysis and suggestions for promotion events in their language groups aimed at improving brand awareness and positioning.

The participant in his proposal for the contest:

  • indicates the language group of campaign;
  • determines the target audience at the current stage;
  • offers methods of the most effective impact on the target audience;
  • draws up an action plan in accordance with the selected methods;
  • provides as much information as possible about how the brand will be positioned: it can be text of an article or interview, design of advertising materials, etc .;
  • determines the method of collecting statistical information on the effectiveness of finished event.

The jury selects the best proposals by soft majority voting system.

After completing their promotions, the selected teams submit their reports to the contest # 2, and the jury selects teams worthy of rewards (soft majority again). The report can be carried over to the next reporting period if the promotion is extended in time.

If a team executes at least two successful promotions and receives a reward for them, it earns the title of Brand Master and gets the opportunity to offer promotions with a planned budget in the form of a certain number of tokens. Such a proposal must contain a justification for the budget with a detailed distribution by expenditure items, and links to standard price lists. The jury has the right to reject such an application if it considers the costs ineffective. When such a promotion is approved by the jury, this team is allocated a corresponding budget from the referral giver.

Initially, the maximum share budget is 5000 tokens. With each successful execution of such a promotion, the maximum budget increases by 5,000 tokens, reaching a maximum of 50,000 tokens.

The title of Brand Master also allows you to connect ambassadors in the appropriate language groups for future promotions.

2. Brand Master roles distribution.

Teams make their own decisions about the number of participants within themselves and the distribution of roles.

However, each team must have its own leader, who has the right to act on behalf of the team, apply for contests, and accept rewards. It will be advantageous if the leader is a public person.

Teams with inefficient distribution of roles or suboptimal numbers of participants should be eliminated through competition.

Brand Masters have the opportunity to attract Ambassadors to directly participate in advertising campaigns.

3. Determining the number of Brand Masters needed.

I believe that at the moment, three commands are enough for each language group:

  • English,
  • Chinese,
  • Hindi.

And two commands for each language group:

  • Korean
  • Russian,
  • Spanish,
  • Portuguese,
  • Japanese.

Total: 33+102 = 19 teams.

At the initial stage, it is necessary to work out the technology and analyze its effectiveness. After that, we can adjust the number of teams and / or rewards by voting.

I assume that at the initial stage, the actual number of teams will be fewer. It is the jury’s duty to select only really interesting and effective proposals.

4. A system for monitoring the fulfillment of Brand Masters’ duties.

I do not approve of the system for monitoring the work of Brand Masters based on the count of referrals, because such a system is too vulnerable to cheating.

According to my idea, two contests are held once a month:

    1. applying for the event;
    1. a report on an already held event.

Only teams that have won an event competition in a previous or earlier competition will submit reports.

Reports include:

  • clear evidence that the stated event was actually carried out, including links, photos, videos (if possible);
  • analytics of the impact on the target audience (the number of clicks on the link, the number of new unique viewers, the number of subscribers, the number and tone of comments, etc.) with links to public verified sources.

5. Identification of regional communities and language groups for community
leadership by Brand Masters.

As I said, it is important to cover the 8 largest language groups in the initial stages:

  • English,
  • Chinese,
  • Hindi,
  • Korean
  • Russian,
  • Spanish,
  • Portuguese,
  • Japanese.

Regional communities, i.e. the target audiences to which the efforts of the Brand Masters will be directed are chosen by them when applying for the competition.

These target audiences must have one or more of the following qualities:

  • potential interest in Free TON for solving their tasks (investment, means of payment, secure means of communication, use of smart contracts, etc.);

  • ideological proximity to the free TON philosophy (decentralization, direct democracy, absence of ICO as a sign of pure intentions);

  • the audience should be receptive to new ideas and is able to positively evaluate the prospects and convenience of Free TON;

  • the audience is vast (tens of thousands of people or more);

  • the audience is potentially interested in spreading information about Free TON beyond its borders.

The choice of the target audience should be justified in each specific case.

6. The main tasks that Brand Masters can perform on a common basis and each in their language group.

The main tasks of the Brand Masters in a common basis:

  • positioning the Free TON brand as a brand of a community of people who want to transform economic and social relationships based on decentralization, transparency, security, speed;
  • increasing awareness and the number of users;
  • attracting the attention of structures in which Free TON technologies can be implemented.

Tasks that can be solved within language groups:

  • involvement of regional communities;
  • brand adoption, taking into account national, economic, linguistic peculiarities, mentality;
  • Free TON is decentralized, which means that it is possible to adapt the brand as “our own”, in each language group, to create a sense of belonging (and this feeling is based on real facts);
  • attracting enthusiasts within language groups to translate and distribute articles about Free TON.

7. Terms of token rewards for tasks performed.

As mentioned above, one cycle consists of two contests.

I suggest that the reward for the first contest should be 5000 tokens.

And for the second 20,000 tokens.

That is, the total maximum budget for rewards will be:

(20,000 + 5,000) * 19 = 475,000 tokens per month.

Here is my proposal for Brand Masters program…

1.Brand Master program description
The purpose of the proposed program at this stage of FreeTON development is to create the Brand Master of “quality”. Achieving this aim involves in focusing on the quality of:

  1. created content, promotion tools, quality and methods of presenting information.

  2. and as a result of the promotion work, attract more participants to the community.

In order to successfully complete the Brand Master mission, the candidate should, first of all, have a very good understanding of the FreeTON project, love and share all the principles of the community. I don’t think that a person who appeals and supports government statements, who is an active member of any political parties which abides the law discording with FreeTON’s principle, and who follows (or coworker) any other similar projects will be relevant for this position (checking posts, comments and etc. in the pages of social network)

At least The Brand Master should study all available information (Free TON websites, Wiki, forum etc) and participate in all AMA sessions. Since this mission can involve both offline and online meetings, the Brand Master should add a short video to the resume (criterion: profession, work experience, successful projects) where he/she tells about Free TON, choosing any topic (criterion: accuracy of content and ability to express thoughts fluently, positively, competently).

In order to create a global image across the world, it is necessarily to form content strategy developed by the community. And the Brand Masters can use any proper promotion tools. Also it is essential to create a single logo for printed materials, for T-shirts, etc. (probably even it will be appropriate for an AMA session :))).

  1. Brand Master roles distribution.
    Some people are excellent at promoting on the Internet, skillfully using all the tools, but by nature they are not entirely successful in personal meetings, giving presentations, etc. offline. Therefore, it can be divided into online and offline promotion, if attracted not team, but individuals for the position of Brand Master.

Online promotion is very important, as it reaches a large audience at a lower cost. Nevertheless offline meetings, as I think, are important, since the audience that actively uses the benefits of online products, etc., or who have a voice / weight (investors, etc.) but are not involved in social networks.

In addition to promoting in the business community, among developers, etc. among the local population, I think working with foreigners who often live without being involved in the local community (in some countries their number is about 20% of the population ) will be vital. Also they can be a good spreader of information in their homeland (through support centers for foreigners, through diaspora leaders, etc.).

  1. Determining the number of Brand Masters needed.
    As the goal of the project is to reach people around the world, a Master Brand is required in every country (except the USA), so it can be a local resident (or a fluently speaking foreigner living for a long time in that region) who has intimate knowledge in the nuances of communication and presentation of material which are important to achieve the desired result. I think it is equally important to use the language which most popular in the country.

4. A system for monitoring the fulfillment of Brand Masters’ duties.

I think the Brand Master should participate in the AMA sessions, translate announcements and all important news from the community in time, pass periodically tests on FreeTON (possibly about a certain section, or about recent and pending events, etc.)

The Brand Master should be involved in a local chat work (criterion: the increase the number of participants, question-answers, the ability to work with negativity, objections)

All participants involved by the Brand Master should be checked for fake (since the work is also evaluated by the number of participants)

Brand Master should provide a monthly basis an informative report with evidence of the tasks performed.

  1. Identification of regional communities and language groups for community leadership by Brand Masters.
    It seems at the moment it is mainly the English and Russian-speaking communities are popular, I think it is necessary to develop in all languages as possible. I think there is no need to work in isolation or leadership of a particular regional community or language groups as leaders.

  2. The main tasks that Brand Masters can perform on a common basis and each in their language group.

  1. create material that can be used by another Brand Master: for example, short videos showing famous attractions in his/her country with the FreeTON promo, there may be short informative texts with a quiz, presentations for offline meetings, etc., which other Brand Masters will translate and use

  2. besides the translation of advertisements, announcements and messages, also translate main materials.

  3. write and post articles in a targeted audience at least 3 times per month; weekly educational, informative short video for you tube; weekly quizzes in social channels; develop chat / social networks - actively and reliably answer questions, involve participants in the development of the FreeTON community.

  4. once every 2 weeks, run an offline light campaign (it can be simply walking around in a suit-logo in the business district, volunteering in a T-shirt with the FreeTON logo, etc.)

Before post materials, it would be better to post them on the forum so that community members can leave comments, criticism, wishes and this helps the Brand Master improve the quality of the content.

The Brand Master should use of all any marketing tools to promote FreeTON.

  1. Terms of token rewards for tasks performed.

Суть состоит в том, чтобы зарабатывать поинты за активность и затем эти поинты обменивать на реальные токены TON Crystal. Человек приходит на платформу и ему нужно завести себе кошелёк TON Surf, вставить свой адрес в поле, подписать декларацию о децентрализации, вступить в основные каналы и чаты telegram, подписаться на все соц. сети Free TON. В результате он будет одобрен к выполнению заданий и получит 20 поинтов за то, что выполнил стартовые шаги. Далее он может выполнять задания и зарабатывать поинты. К примеру, когда наберёт 500 поинтов на платформе Brand Master, то сможет их обменять на 500 токенов TON Crystal. То есть это минимальное количество поинтов, которое нужно для обмена на токены. Таким образом мы исключаем тех, кто придёт, чтобы по-быстрому заработать и уйти, а будет реально трудиться. Все работы будут проверяться членами жюри. За свою работу члены жюри будут получать награду в токенах TON Crystal. Также в обязанности жюри входит не только проверка работ, но и проверка пользователей на фальшивых рефералов и мультиаккаунты. Также стоит следить за тем, чтобы пользователи не присваивали чужую работу себе. Можно использовать опыт https://freeton.org/contests для доказательства подлинности работы. Например, провести вебинар своей аудитории на тему Free TON и добавить его запись в отчёт, перевод статей, придумать какого-нибудь полезного telegram бота для продвижения и так далее. Всё, что способствует популяризации Free TON. Такие работы уже будут оцениваться на усмотрение жюри.

Реферальная система платформы Brand Master :

Каждый пользователь может приглашать людей по своей реферальной ссылке. Но получать награду он будет, когда его реферал наберёт 500 поинтов. Награда будет составлять 5% от количества поинтов реферала. То есть допустим реферал набрал 500 поинтов и решил обменять их на токены TON Crystal. Как только он обменяет, человек, который его пригласил, получит 5% от этой суммы, что составляет 25 поинтов.

Technical Brandmaster is well aware of the technical capabilities of TON from developer and user side, and can perform the following tasks:

  • educating developers online (creating expert content on development with Free TON) and offline (for example, during meetups or hackathons)
  • give information about the Free TON development process, tasks, problems and achievements that the project has at the moment, the performance of Free TON, etc., answers to questions and comments (more detailed)

This role is suitable for subject matter experts and requires significant commitment to the project. The selection for this role takes place on a competitive basis based on the results of the resume review and, probably, voting for the applicant.

Marketer ambassador

The role of the Marketer Ambassador is related to the targeted promotion of the Free TON product to end users - potential owners of decentralized applications based on Free TON. The last paragraph in the description of the role of the Technical Ambassador (see above) mentions that Marketer ambassador assists in the development of projects initiated by private clients, companies, communities, introducing blockchain technologies into their processes.

But if the task of the Technical Ambassador is technical consulting, then the task of the Ambassador Marketer is more business contact with potential application owners. To a lesser extent, the Marketer Ambassador is interested in attracting individual developers. One way or another, the role’s main tasks are:

  • analysis of the potential market, demand for using the Free TON ecosystem to create dApps and other technical capabilities
  • competitive analysis of other dApp platforms
  • participation in meetings, conferences, meetups
  • direct contact with potential owners of decentralized applications based on Free TON, explaining the capabilities of the platform and its potential benefits for non-technical people.

This is my proposal for the contest-

In the current Blockchain and Cryptocurrency space, where many of the projects underestimate the need for decentralization, free TON has embraced this concept from its very inception.

But decentralization comes with its own bells and whistles; namely no single point of interaction and no official GO-TO preson.

That’s why official Brand Masters are required- To officially represent Free TON at various stages.

BRAND MASTERS PROGRAM

Appointing Free TON Brand Masters to PROMOTE and REPRESENT Free TON on behalf of the community at various platforms online and offline, and promoting Free TON in their respective local communities and language groups.

The program should be a long term initiative where Brand Masters are appointed/reappointed Monthly/Quarterly on the basis of roles they are willing to play and the quality of their earlier work (Eg- Monthly appointments for online social media representatives, and Quarterly for regional community managers based on their work.)

ROLES-

They will be able to choose a role (or a few) that’s suits the most from the list below:

  • Regional Community Managers: Lead and manage local groups and sharing knowledge with new members about FreeTON; using the messaging/social networking apps specific to their region.( Eg- WeChat for Chinese community)
  • Social Media Representative: Acting as official representative of FreeTON and Spread awareness of the project by utilizing social media platforms and forums to engage with users and Discussing FreeTON in other crypto groups.
  • Project Collaboration: Reaching out to other projects and teams, encouraging them to develop Dapps for FreeTON or bridging FreeTON with other Blockchains.
  • Event Organizer: Coordinating with Country Ambassadors and Researching & organizing conferences and related events; organizing meetups and educational sessions in their city/region.
  • Content Creators/ Translators: Creating educational and engaging content (articles, videos, graphics) on various topics related to the project or translating contents to their primary language
  • Any other role required as per circumstances determined by the community.

REGIONAL COMMUNITIES/ LANGUAGE GROUPS-

Separate Brand Masters should be assigned in order to represent and better promote Free TON to regional groups and languages that constitute significant number of cryptocurrency enthusiasts, starting from- Russia(Russian), China & Hong Kong(Mandarin), India(Hindi), Vietnam(Vietnamese), South Korea(Korean), Nigeria(Hausa/English), South Africa(Afrikaans/Zulu), Singapore(Malay), UK and other European Countries(English), with more regional communities and languages added later on.

Roles that would require separate Brand Masters for each language group- Regional community manager, translator, event organizer, etc.

Roles that would be common for all the Brand masters- Content Creation, Social media representative, Project Collaboration, etc.

NUMBER OF BRAND MASTERS REQUIRED-

Initial number of brand masters shall be limited to 1-2 per geographical/ language group for each role where separate Brand Masters are required for each regional group, and total 3-5 for the roles for which are common for all the regional groups. Changes could be made later on as per the response and requirement.

REQUIREMENTS TO BE FREE TON BRAND MASTER-

  • Have a good understanding about Free TON, its mission, objectives and goals.
  • Be a great communicator, in order to motivate and inspire the community and general public.
  • If applying as social media representative, should have good social media presence with a respectable number of twitter followers/ youtube viewers etc. or social media crypto influencer.
  • For offline event organizer, should have sufficient prior experience in organizing such events.
  • Content creator or translator should have prior experience in his respective field.

SELECTION PROCEDURE-

A form should be made available once a month for the community members to apply for the role of Brand Masters.

Applicants aspiring to be Brand Masters should fill out the form indicating their-

  • Name, Country, Languages Spoken
  • Roles they are willing to play as Brand Masters (Eg.- Online/Offline promotion, sending and receiving official communications on behalf of Free TON, Monitoring & Moderating Free TON groups and social media accounts, etc.)
  • Time per week/month they are willing to devote for these activities
  • Any prior experience in this field along with proof for the same
  • Any other requirement as decided.

SELECTION CRITERIA-

Decision on selection of appropriate Brand Masters shall be made by validators through voting/ or it could even be delegated by them to a small committee charged with responsibility for handling activities and promotions & events. (It would be better if such decisions are not left to members for voting as chances of rigging by malicious applicants are very high in such a scenario)

AFTER SELECTION-

The names, brief details along with photographs (if possible) of selected Brand Masters shall be hosted on a dedicated page at freeton.org or community forum so that anyone can easily look and verify their credentials. It would create plethora of options to motivate them to perform their assigned roles diligently (Eg- By giving them 1-5 gems based on their performance and the community’s perception of them.

If possible, Brand Masters, especially those organizing offline events and promotional workshops shall be given starter kits containing T-shirts, merchandise, badges, or other things enabling them to represent Free TON to their audience.

WORK PERFORMED-

Proof of work shall be submitted weekly by the Brand Master to a common portal (such as Free TON forum) under his name in appropriate manner as per his role, (such as screenshots by social media influencers and online regional community managers, pictures/ short video of events by event organizers) and those not submitting their work for two consecutive weeks booted out, moreover, any member would be able to have a look at the quantity and quality of work performed by him and members with sufficient quorum would have powers to relieve any Brand Master of his duties if the quantity or quality of work is deemed below par.

REWARDS-

Tokens awarded shall focus more on the quality, creativity and the amount of time devoted for the work performed rather than the quantity of work

Rating system could be applied for this purpose, rating the creativity and quality of work on a scale from 1 to 10, 1 being the least creative and 10 being most unique and creative.

(NOTE: The following table is only an illustration of how Crystals can be distributed among different rating assuming 1 TON Crystal = $0.50. Actual number of crystals distributed can depend on the price of Crystals and other factors)

General Description
Since the Free TON is just beginning its development path, it is now important to build a community leader structure represented by Brand Masters. Brand Master is a Free TON true believer who understands the Free TON purpose, knows the entire Free TON structure, and also knows how all the project’s tools work and can teach this to new community members.

Time frame
The Free TON Brand Masters program has no time limits and will function as long as the Free TON needs work, provided by Brand Masters.

Program results
All Brand Masters work should lead to worldwide Free TON brand recognition, global community development, including regional communities in terms of linguistic, geographical, and other criteria, settling each new community member to Free TON ideas, goals, training to use all the necessary project tools.

Brand Masters roles distribution

The work of each Brand Master can be assessed based on several criteria:

  1. The value of the people whom the Brand Master invited to Free TON: these can be enthusiasts who develop the project, Telegram chat participants who start useful discussions, various contests initiators for the community, a participant in various contests, a developer who is interested in creating smart contracts or dapps for the Free TON development;
  2. Performing standard work to maintain the Free TON functioning as a whole and its individual communities according to linguistic, geographic, thematic, or another criterion: content creation, content translation into the necessary languages ​​(in accordance with the Free TON Wiki Governance, thereby stimulating this industry), Telegram channels and chats moderation, moderation of official Free TON pages on various social resources, etc.

Determining the number of Brand Masters needed

The number of Brand Masters required for the full Free TON development depends on the project needs and each Brand Master uniqueness who has something to offer the Free TON depending on his skills and capabilities.

A system for monitoring the fulfilment of Brand Masters’ duties

For the complete and correct organization of all Brand Masters work, monitoring the effectiveness of the performance of certain tasks, as well as the expediency of these tasks, a full-fledged management apparatus is needed - Free TON Ambassadors Governance, which will exercise comprehensive and full control over the implementation of each Brand Master tasks.

Each Brand Master individually undertakes:

  • Provide various ways of communication with him/her (if necessary, so that everybody can contact the Brand Master at any time);
  • Provide an open report on the work done, its effectiveness in time;
  • Provide an open report about goals and plans for the next month;
  • Reports must be submitted for the total of each month by the 1st day of the next month;
  • The report must be open to any community member;
  • Participate in the Brand Masters Telegram chat;
  • Attend monthly all-available Brand Masters Meetups to discuss important questions and plans for the Free TON global community development (if necessary, such Meetups will hold more often).

In order to stimulate all Brand Masters work, it is proposed to conduct monthly open entire community voting to identify the Best Brand Masters for the past month, with a reward in the amount of:

  • 1st place - 5000 Tons;
  • 2nd place - 2500 Tons;
  • 3rd place - 1000 Tons.

Identification of regional communities and language groups for community leadership by Brand Masters

Each Brand Master has the right to create a community of Free TON true believers, depending on the following criteria (this list is not exhaustive):

  • communities based on language affiliation;
  • communities based on the geographic region;
  • communities based on interests;
  • communities based on pre-professional skills.

The main tasks that Brand Masters can perform on a common basis and each in their language group & Terms of token rewards for tasks performed

To fulfill the role of Brand Master according to the principle of each brought new community member value, each Brand Master can perform the following actions (this list is not exhaustive and each Brand Master has the right to act at its discretion):

  1. Use your own social networks to attract true believers to Free TON;
  2. Create the necessary chats, pages, channels, where you will provide the necessary information to all participants who interesting in Free TON;
  3. Hold offline events in your region;
  4. Hold online conferences, AMA sessions, for example, of an introductory nature, for those wishing to ask questions and understand the Free TON essence and philosophy;
  5. Provide the necessary information to all newcomers regarding the possibility of their benefit and contribution to the Free TON, the possibility of making money in our project.

Each new community member can be involved in the Free TON life and contributes to the Free TON development in varying degrees and, in accordance with this level of involvement, will use the reward for the Brand Master who invite this community member to the Free TON:

  • A community member is an active participant in Free TON Telegram chats, Free TON forum, initiates discussions, is involved in discussions, started by other participants (reward - 50 Tons/community member);
  • A community member initiates a contest to identify best practices for various Free TON Governance (reward - 100 Tons/community member);
  • A community member won a prize in contest and implemented his practice, in fact this community member really benefited the Free TON (reward - 1,000 Tons/community member);
  • A community member became new Free TON Brand Masters - perhaps you already have several talented acquaintances in this area with cool experience (reward - 5,000 Tons/new Brand Master).

To fulfill the role of Brand Master in accordance with the principle of performing standard work to maintain the Free TON functioning as a whole and its individual communities:

  1. Free TON Forum Engagement - available for all Brand Masters - be active on Free TON forum & create new threads & engage in all discussions by sharing your feedback, personal views, additional information {graphics/articles}, and supporting the discussion (reward - TOP 10 Thread evaluated at end of the month/each month - 2,000 Tons/thread);
  2. Community & Telegram Management - mirror all official posts in the local Telegram Group that you manage - minimum requirement is to have over 80% of the content published, otherwise, the task will be not rewarded for, make sure the pinned message is up-to-date and includes all relevant links and info (you can customize it for your community). You are responsible for addressing any questions/issues/concerns that the community may have and respond timely. Please also share interesting industry news & engage followers in discussions (reward - 5,000 Tons/month for each Telegram group);
  3. External Forum Engagement - this task is focused on creating a thread in your language, sharing Free TON`s news/ information, and posting it on crypto/blockchain-related forums (BitcoinTalk, AltcoinTalk, Reddit, 4chan, etc.) that are popular in your region (and also English speaking). In addition, you should respond to any questions that members will have about Free TON + participate in the relevant discussions and popular threads (reward - min. amount of posts/month 15+: 1,000 Tons {for just posting the content}; creating an active thread with 25+ organic responses from the members & addressing them/engaging in meaningful conversations: 2,500 Tons);
  4. Search for influential bloggers, resources - this task is open for everybody who can search for opinion leaders in different social networks, large bloggers for posting through their channels information about the Free TON project and its news and announcements (reward - every new influencer who is ready for partnership: 5,000 Tons);
  5. Monthly community activity - creating quests and intellectual games for the global community with the possibility of Tons earning. This will increase community Free TON interest. Keeping count of interactive tasks and reward payment to participants at the end of the month (reward - 4,000 Tons/month);
  6. Content creation, content translation - in accordance with the Free TON Wiki Governance;
  7. Video content creation - create interactive video content on different topics that you are interested in, as well as topics that will be claimed for coverage within the interactive Free TON Wiki version (reward - in accordance with the Free TON Wiki Governance);
  8. Bounty campaigns creation - create a campaign (at least once per month) to grow/reward your community. You can also reach out to other groups/communities and do a collaboration {interview, quiz, AMA, etc.} (reward - 20% of the total payments for the community bounty campaign);
  9. Create and initiate new contests for the community - if you have an interesting idea that you want to implement in Free TON, as well as bring real benefit to the project or community, initiate the corresponding contest (reward - 1,000 Tons/successful contest).

Each Brand Master has the right to choose himself according to which scheme it is better for him to work and which structure will bring more benefit to the Free TON.

In addition

This Brand Master program was developed based on the experience of working as a IoTeX project Brand Ambassador.

While developing this Brand Master program, together with Michael Shapkin and Dmitry bitjudge we are aware of our full responsibility, and we also express our full readiness to implement this Brand Master program as part of the Free TON Ambassadors Governance development.

Regardless of whether this Brand Master program is approved by the Jury and selected as the main Brand Master program, we will carry out the Free TON Ambassadors Governance development.

Strategic program of the Free TON Brand Masters

This program was written by Dmitry bitjudge. You may know me as one of the Initial Members of Free TON Wiki and Wiki team lead.

NB: The reference to “we” in the context of this document implies an initiative group consisting of the following persons: Dmitry bitjudge (Telegram), Michael Shapkin (Telegram), Daria Artanovskaya (Telegram). The initiative group has the ability and interest to implement this program in order to achieve the stated goals. However, the final choice must be made by the community.

Brand Masters program description

Program objectives

  1. Building strong local Free TON communities led by BMs and their invited followers. Communities can be formed according to linguistic, national, geo, thematic, or professional characteristics.
  2. Involvement in Free TON of new enthusiasts, followers, public figures who will become an active part of the community and, possibly, new BMs to help achieve the goals of Free TON.
  3. Encouraging BMs to leadership, personal active position, constant communication with the community, participation in various initiatives, contests (both as a participant and as an initiator), AMA sessions, and any Free TON events.

Program promotion

Obviously, the program needs to be promoted outward to attract BMs from social media, crypto and tech communities, and any other source where the target audience is concentrated. We will be looking for people who can and want to become BMs in Free TON.

The promotion plan includes:

  • Announcement of the BM Program on popular crypto forums and communication with the community there;
  • Collaborate with cryptocurrency and other media to announce the BM Program;
  • Placing a program announcement on media platforms with free publication (for example, in Russia it is vc.ru, tjournal.ru, roem.ru) and communication with the community there;
  • Program announcement through video broadcasts, conferences, AMA sessions. Speaking at Free TON events, as well as other online and offline events with a presentation of the program;
  • Help existing Free TON BMs to announce the program by using their resources and opportunities to publicly promote the program;
  • Using personal contacts and some of our own know-how to find new BMs among founders, CEO, CTO, and other top people in IT, cryptocurrency, and other areas.

Program results

The BM Program has a long way to go and the question arises of how to evaluate the results of the BM Program “on the road”, at any stage. The following criteria will confirm that the program runs successfully:

  1. Transparency of all processes that make up the work of the BM Program;
  2. The ability to participate and influence the community on any aspect of the program;
  3. Public statistics of the program, regular reporting of BMs;
  4. Community growth, an obvious influx of new enthusiasts and supporters;
  5. Growth in the number of contests, AMA sessions, created addresses (wallets);
  6. Growth in the number of Free TON partners and independent projects on the blockchain.

Brand Masters roles distribution

The performance of any BM should be judged by his/her performance.

Based on the goals of the program, only the quality of the invited followers is important, their real activity in Free TON, and the benefits that these people bring to the community. Only this criterion of the quality of the invited followers will be applied in assessing the effectiveness of the BM’s work.

Therefore, it does not matter whether the BM is an ordinary enthusiast, popular blogger, opinion leader, public figure, celebrity, etc. Any of them should get an equal chance because it is fair and meets the idea of Decentralization. Further, it does not matter the size of the BM’s own audience on social networks or media, it is only important how the BM will use this resource and whether it will bring results.

Here’s an example: We believe that a small blogger who attracts 100 active and interested followers will bring much more value to Free TON than free advertising from a media person (declaring himself a BM) with his own audience of several million people, after which thousands of useless and non-initiative people will come only out of curiosity.

Based on the above, we believe that referral programs and other similar methods based on quantitative audience recruitment will be of much less benefit than performance measurement.

Determining the number of Brand Masters needed

The program has no exact limit on the number of BMs. However, recruitment of new BMs to the program may be terminated if the program reaches the limit of rewards, or if it becomes clear that the objectives of the program have been achieved.

A system for monitoring the fulfilment of Brand Masters’ duties

Brand Masters Support Team

To help BMs achieve program objectives, monitor the program, and oversee BMs’ work, a support team should be formed of members of the initiative group and/or other members chosen by the community.

The support team will be rewarded for their work in the amount of 20% of the expenses of the BM Program.

Brand Masters Program Jury and Brand Masters Subgovernance

In the event that this BM Program is deemed strategically important to Free TON, the community may consider establishing Free TON Brand Masters Subgovernance. This also involves the election of a separate Brand Masters Program Jury, whose responsibilities will include voting for the work of BMs.

An authorized jury will have the right to exclude any BM from the program if he/she regularly fails to fulfill his duties or discredits the ideas and principles of Free TON.

Thus, the elected authorized jury will vote for:

  • Rewarding BMs;
  • Removing BMs from the program;
  • Change Score to Tons Ratio (see the Rewards structure section).

Monitoring system

All these programs will be publicly available to the community at any time, including:

  • A report on the work of each BM, allowing to assess his/her current progress in the program;
  • Information about how many and what people the BM invited to Free TON (see the Terms of token rewards section);
  • Support Team Performance Report;
  • Any other public statistics of the program that will help make it transparent and open to the community.

This publicly available data will enable the community to monitor program implementation, participate in decision-making, and assess the current progress of the BM Program.

Identification of regional communities and language groups for community leadership by Brand Masters

There is no need to thoroughly evaluate the BM’s existing social profiles and check the quality of the audience there. Because (as mentioned above), we will evaluate the work of the BM based on his/her results.

As for the creation by the BM of new local communities Free TON, they can be formed according to linguistic, national, geo, thematic or professional characteristics.

Although the creation of local language communities seems to be the most obvious thing, why should we forbid a BM to create, for example, a chat for his favorite Free TON game (thematic chat), or a chat for Free TON applications developers for some narrow niche (developers chat)? In the end, it is only important that the BM is a local leader and involves new people in Free TON, as stated in the program’s goals.

The main tasks that Brand Masters can perform on a common basis and each in their language group

We initially believe that a BM acts in good faith, honestly, openly, responsibly, communicatively, and demonstrates leadership qualities. It is certain that the BM signed the Declaration on Decentralization, believes in the idea and future of Free TON, otherwise he/she is not worthy of the honorary title of BM.

Each BM can act according to his own plan if the objectives of the program are achieved.

However, to help BMs get started quickly, the Support Team will prepare a detailed guide for them. Here are the approximate titles of the sections that will be included (this list is provided as an example and will definitely be expanded):

  • Create your own Telegram chat or group on any local or global social network, and start inviting people there;
  • Provide more info for each newbie, tell everyone why they are here and what they can get;
  • Tell your followers about the opportunity to participate in Free TON contests and the rewards for winning them;
  • Help your followers install Surf and create an address (wallet);
  • Ask your followers to fill out a Free TON Fan Application Form (this will establish that you have invited a person and will give you the right to claim your rewards in the future);
  • Tell your followers about the current Free TON contests and help fill out the contest application for those who want to participate;
  • Find out what your followers are good at, what professional skills they have, how they want to apply their knowledge for Free TON;
  • Help your followers integrate into other Free TON communities so they can fulfill their potential;
  • [… many other points …]
  • Reach out to the best of your followers and see if any of them wants to become the new BM of Free TON. If the answer is yes, then help them do it!

Essentially, this step-by-step list is a coherent funnel of engaging new people in Free TON. These steps will also help the BM himself get used to the Free TON ecosystem to learn many things that will later need to be taught to his followers.

Terms of token rewards for tasks performed

KPI unit

The basic unit of KPIs is Verified Follower (VF).

A Verified Follower is a BM-invited follower who has proven to be a real person in the community and/or has completed the Free TON Fan Application Form (FAF). FAF is recommended but not required.

In addition, any person can become a Verified Follower automatically without filling out a form if they have been extremely active in the community for at least 2 months and no one has any doubts that the corresponding profile belongs to a real person.

When creating the FAF template, we will be guided by the principles of Free TON decentralization and guarantee that we will NOT request any personal data specified in any ID cards issued by any government agency. Providing information about yourself is voluntary and is only necessary as evidence that an applicant is a real person.
The list of questions and technical implementation of the FAF will be made in such a way as to make it as difficult as possible for bots to use and send fake data. This will mean that almost all applications are from real people.

Each BM will have an individual form for their followers (based on a uniform parental template) so that it is possible to determine the people that each BM invited to Free TON.

Form responses (i.e. information submitted) will be transparent and instantly available to the entire community. This will achieve the following goals:

  • See how many and what people the BM invited to Free TON;
  • Show the community the progress of the BM Program;
  • See if a BM followers fake data to fill out the FAF.

Rewards structure

The BM’s reward structure is based on the performance of his Verified Followers. VF’ results are evaluated in specific Scores.

The BM will be rewarded multiple times for each Verified Follower, as that VF becomes even more involved in the Free TON community and ecosystem and earns the next Trust Level, according to the table above.

It follows from this that the BM will be interested in constantly helping as many of his followers as possible to integrate more strongly into the Free TON community and processes. This is one of the goals of the BM Program, and this goal will be maximized.

Score to Ton Ratio

Initially, the Score to Ton Ratio is set at 1:1. That is, at the time of writing this program, the actual rewards in the table above are equal to the same amount in Tons tokens.

However, the BM Program is long-term and no one knows the real value of Tons in the future, which can change many times. Score to Ton Ratio will allow you to correlate the reward of BMs with the value of Ton at any given time, so that BMs can continue to receive a reward adequate to their efforts.

The Score to Ton Ratio can only be changed by a vote of the jury authorized to vote in the BM Program.

Optional note

This program can also be viewed as a Free TON Ambassador Program, or both BM and ambassador programs can be combined, if it’s acceptable.

FreeTON: Brand Masters - Program Development

Abstract

FreeTON is at a very nascent stage in popularity compared to other crypto projects. So I wouldn’t like to categorize Brand Masters ( in big and small brand masters like some of the other proposals did). At this stage we must allow anyone who would like to do hard work in popularizing the projects and our main focus should be on getting more people to create TON wallets, as currently it has just above 1000 wallets which is quite low.

I don’t focus much on offline promotion for now ( due to Covid situation ), and also we have plenty of room to expand through online mode first and then at later stages we can also focus on online

Brand Master Roles

For making FreeTON popular and widespread Brand Masters should do various activities, some of them are listed below. They can do some as well as all it’s up to the Brand Masters what they want to do, and at what they are best at.

  1. Making Youtube Videos
  2. Tweets and Hashtags on Twitter
  3. Posts on Facebook, Instagram and other Social Media accounts
  4. Adding Members on Telegram Groups and Channels
  5. Conduct Webinars
  6. Reddit Posts
  7. Discord Servers
  8. Popularizing FreeTON on other Crypto Websites/Chat Rooms/Websites
  9. Offline Activities like Seminars, meetups, etc…

I have elaborated all these strategies below in detail.

No. of Brand Masters Required

As I have mentioned currently we are at a nascent stage so we must start with a small number of Brand Masters, I propose it to be around 20 Brand Masters, distributed among nationalities and geographies, depending on the popularity of FreeTON in respective countries. Like in this round we can have more brand ambassadors for Russia as FreeTON is already very popular there and less for India, where it’s not that popular.

Brand Master Proposal

I propose to make this program in the form of a contest where Brand Masters can win awards for the work they have done in promoting FreeTON. Judges will judge the submission and crystals will be distributed starting from 40,000 for First , 38,000 to Second ………. 2,000 to last one.
I will discuss the evaluation system in the “Monitoring System” part below.

Brand Master should work as the face of the FreeTON project in their region and work in collaboration with Country Ambassadors and other community members. Brand Master may not have resources of it’s own to do promotion and may not have big followings on different platforms, but it must gather those resources to do the promotion work. Some strategies I have mentioned below in detail.

  1. YouTube Videos
    Youtube is an excellent platform to popularize FreeTON, as there are many crypto channels with thousands and even millions of subscribers, brand masters can make some videos regarding FreeTON in their regional region and promote it.

Also if Brand Master doesn’t have any big youtube channel or is not comfortable in making videos, they can collaborate with other crypto channels in their region to promote freeton, but it must be verifiable that you collaborated with they chanel for promotion, like your telegram id in description or your name mentioned by the channel creator in the video

  1. Campaigns on Twitter
    Brand Master can run campaigns on Twitter with hashtags and all, they can take help from Advertising agencies to telp trending hashtags related to FreeTon in their region. They can also organize giveaways.

  2. Posting on Social Media about FreeTON
    Brand Masters can either post themselves on social media platforms or they can collaborate with influencers in their region to promote FreeTON.

  3. Adding Members in Telegram Groups
    Brand Masters can work in adding members to their regional groups and encourage new members to create a freeTON wallet and post their addresses in groups to get airdrops/giveaways.

  4. Posts on subreddits related to Crypto on Reddit and postings on Other Forums
    Brand Master can popularize FreeTON on subreddits on Reddit and other forums on the internet related to Cryptocurrency and Blockchain. They can also advertise in their local regional subreddits, in form of contests and giveaways.

  5. Offline Promotion and Gaming Contests
    Brand Managers can attract more people through various offline events like meetups and seminars. They can also organize gaming contests in their region and give TON Crystals as prizes.

FreeTON Giveaway/Airdrops or Rewards

We can reserve some FreeTONs for doing giveaways/airdrops every week for this Brand Master program. Every week 5000 tons will be distributed as giveaways/ airdrops to participants who join FreeTON through Brand Masters.

Brand Masters can run competitions on their Youtube Channels, Discord Servers, Twitter Profiles, etc… and they tell people to share their freeTON address in the comments.

Here How it works:

  1. Brand masters will share competition link in aTelegram Group ( of all Brand Masters)
  2. They can share links to any platform, youtube, twitter, instagram, etc…
  3. So all Brand Masters will share links of their competitions.
  4. Once in a week a jury will run a winner picker on their links https://commentpicker.com/ , and select 100 new Comments with FreeTON addresses, 50 Crystals for each winner.
  5. Jury will get 500 Crystals for picking winners.

So in this way we can make a giveaway/airdrop and rewarding system a little transparent.

Monitoring System

All Brand Masters need to maintain a daily worksheet in form of a public teleram group, where brand masters will post their work whenever they do something, so that everyone can see and monitor the activities of Brand Masters, and whether they are doing continuous work or just last minute postings to get eligible for rewards. Ofcourse those who are doing regular work will be given more rewards.

There will be one more competition in parallel with this Brand Master Program , called “Critic Program” , where anyone from the FreeTON community can participate and catch fraudulent behaviours of Brand Masters.

For example : Let’s say a Brand Mastar posted some tweet on twitter and posted it as a work in his public daily worksheet, that tweet got some likes, retweets and comments. The critics can go and verify whether those likes and retweets are of real people or bots. Bots have certain bot like behavior, like bots only do liking following and retweeting. Bots don’t participate in meaningful twitter discussions.
So Critics can find these fraud activities and those critics who catch most illegal activity will get 1st prize starting from 10,000 to 1000 crystals. It will also help the jury in accessing the performance of Brand Masters for main contest.
