Description:
Advertising, marketing and promotion in general throughout different countries and demographics is required for Free TON adoption.
The Ambassador program calls on knowledgeable leaders who have geographically diverse backgrounds and respective audiences and languages to do their part to promote the Free TON network among and throughout their respective user pools.
To be effective, this contest is broken down into 2 stages. Stage 1 will select Ambassadors while Stage 2 will judge Ambassador performance to deliver what is promised in Stage 1. Stage 2 will be announced after Stage 1 is complete.
Type:
Contest
Contest entry period:
August 10, 2020 12.00 P.M UTC - August 26, 2020, 24.00 P.M UTC.
Motivation:
Increase user adoption and media recognition through marketing and promotion throughout various countries and regions in order to increase the number of Free TON enthusiasts and users from around the world. Think “adoption”.
To accomplish this, first a group of Ambassadors must be selected along with their clearly projected goals, followed by a second contest in which these Ambassadors will be asked to deliver based on those goals, all for tokens.
Ambassador requirements
-
CV: Candidates who would like to become Ambassadors need to submit a 1-page CV (in the form of a PDF file) describing their background, credentials, reputation, country or geographical region that they want to represent, and a short description of why they feel they are best suited to be an Ambassador/why they should be selected.
-
KPIs: Candidates who would like to be selected must also provide an additional page/s that describes what they intend to do in order to promote Free TON. Each of these intended activities must be supported with anticipated KPIs (key performance indicators) that the Ambassador will then have to perform during Stage 2. These KPIs will determine the winners of Stage 2, which must be met in order to win the advertised rewards (below). Performance deliverables can include, but are not limited to:
- Represent Free TON at a hackathon
- Create content (articles, news, reviews of written and video materials on the web, create blogs, create videos, have articles published by 3rd party publications, infographics, translations, etc.) in any media.
- Facilitate meetups (webinars, conferences, podcasts, etc.) in any media.
- Community development (social media, chats, groups, etc.) through any media.
- And so on. Be creative!
Upcoming Stage 2 future snapshot for reference:
-
Based on anticipated KPIs from Stage 1, each Ambassador will be expected to successfully perform their projected tasks over the course of Stage 2.
-
All performed tasks will need to be logged and documented complete with statistics (number of people reached, brought to Free TON, results of all kinds, etc.) so that they leave no room for ambiguity as to the quality of performance. This should include links to work performed, goals (KPIs) met, and be presented professionally and elegantly.
-
The submission itself should be in PDF format. Please try to keep it to a reasonable length (1 to 3 pages in total) using links to your work rather than outlining everything in one document.
Evaluation and winning criteria Stage 1
-
Public and professional reputation is a major consideration. This is a measurable tool to help determine capability of performance as well as motivation, since nonperformance or poor performance may result in lowering a candidate’s reputation should they underperform in Stage 2.
-
Background, knowledge and credentials that demonstrate ability to perform.
-
KPI forecast that can help predict positive outcome: promotion and user outreach potential.
Stage 2 future expectations snapshot for reference:
-
Meet (and hopefully exceed) all KPIs promised in Stage 1. Unmet KPIs may render your submission as rejected.
-
Quality of submission: follow the requirement guidelines described including logging your work, results, statistical data – including (if applicable) user reach and user increase numbers, as well as submission format. Everything should be easily verifiable.
Voting
- Each of the initial Free TON jurors can vote on your submission. Jurors whose team(s) intend to participate in this contest by providing submissions lose their right to vote in this contest.
- Each juror will vote by rating each submission on a scale of 0 to 10 or can choose to reject it if it does not meet requirements, or they can choose to abstain from voting if they feel unqualified to judge.
- Jurors will provide feedback on your submissions.
- Duplicate, sub par, incomplete or inappropriate submissions will be rejected.
