I think that payment is already essential. The work was done tremendously, especially those who started this bounty and thought of it. There were 3 forums, where Bitcoin Talk is considered the main source of good and interesting people, others are also good, but there is also a young audience who are also interested in all this movement. Changing conditions is just a step towards a bad reputation. Everything on the Internet remains, and no one will go unnoticed and uninvolved. The campaign proposal was approved by the sub ambassador, so the campaign has started and should end well, right? People will just start leaving and will not be interested in the project, people are the TON engine for popularity and development. And then what is left?
Ok, here’s my 2 cents: Beside the obvious results that signature campaign brought, i think i need to explain why you want to pay, because looks like you guys don’t understand the gravity and ramifications of your decision not to pay.
First of all you do realize that you might want not angry a bunch people who write about cryptos a lot and every day? These same people are also writing to reddit, talk in youtube, twitter, and telegram, and they don’t have to talk about the project they adveritse you know? On their free time they are trying to figure out subjects to talk about. And you just gave them a huge subject and negative attitude towards any Free Ton related content anywhere.
And meanwhile giving 7mln TON to cointelegraph you also gave them more fud ammunition. They will brush off every article in there as a paid ad from now on. They will probably claim that cointelegraph is able to pump and dump the markets with that amount during and after their payment or something like that. And this will probably be happening in comment sections on where ever these articles get posted.
And you weren’t paying only for ads, you were changing the attitude of crypto community members, because it was in every bounty hunter’s interest to make this project success from now on. You were making more community members with this. They would have talk their friends about free ton because they knew enough about it now. Now they will be telling their friends that it’s a scam.
May i also point out that the reason i refused to even look at free ton before. I joined late and read about it and i was really surprised that it wasn’t a scam. In my head it was connected to these free airdrops making fake ton sales, and calling it free ton didn’t help your case.
First things i look for in a project is an unmoderared announcement and now you are danger of having red trust in the account that posted it. Before studying this project, that would had been enough to turn me away and never look back at this.
Not paying would be insane and counterproductive. You want to create a positive talking points. So please pay to bounty hunters, I am already invested in this and getting quite scared now.
I hope a lot has been said concerning the reason why we should be paid for our work in trying to popularize this Free Ton project because have contributed to the popularity that this project gained so far and exempting us from receiving our payment will be a bad seed you will plant for your project because if you don’t pay us for the work we have done,do you think we will be happy or further talk good about this project and the answer is…NO therefore, let the right thing be done here otherwise it will not end well.
