I support this.
Why is limitation only 4 minutes?
Why is the author of the contest receives 1%?
Why are the US citizens unable to get TONs?

4 min is radio standard

Aristotel want to be a first , who broken system, and request reward for the author  , but thoughts in the right direction.

And ā€œFree TON cannot distribute Tons to US citizens or US entitiesā€ is old statement. need to correction.

Iā€™d suggest to add here something like: the author of the contest also supports participants and interested parties in the forum thread by answering the questions etc.

As for ā€˜brand tuneā€™ (as itā€™s usually called) - good idea, support.

I saw the authorā€™s rewards on other contests. I think, itā€™s OK, because the author writes contestā€™s description, answers the participantsā€™ questions, and updates contestā€™s description until it starts.

About autotune for vocal. My opinion: this will be allowed. Your ideas?

Donā€™t see any problems with that. As long as it is unique (not someone else voice) and creative - good to go.

  • Need to add about the minimum duration of the track. For example 1 minute.
  • Need to increase the jury award. 10-15% + 5% for every 100 competitive works that meet the requirements. (Given that the contest is creative, there can be a lot of works and plagiarismā€¦ there are a lot of various libraries of sounds, samples, loops on the Internet.)

What is criteria for plagiarism? How are you gonna check this? I can find ā€œplagiarismā€ in almost every melody.

You sure? It is unreal

I will not check this. The obvious and explicit plagiarism will be found by itself easily.

This rule will be further considered

How? For example for texts you can use text.ru antiplagiat and set uniques %. I think you should offer smth same.

Hey hello! Guys, I suggest not to limit the duration and make it up to 5-6 minutes.
For vocal things 3:30 - 4 minutes is quite enough, but for instrumental compositions of some styles of time it takes a little more

And I would like to discuss the issue of using compositions.

The fact is that for each use case, its own structure, character and mood of the track

If you just listen, then this is one thing.
If used in streams - a different form and content

We canā€™t allow plagiarism. Anyway, we have Shazam to find similar tracks + participants will find plagiarism by themselves.

If the fact of plagiarism found - jurors will confirm it and downgrade the rate of it.
