Free TON Turkey Governance Proposal

1. Proposal summary

It remains unclear whether cryptocurrencies will replace traditional money in the near future or if this prognosis will become true. Hence, the economic turbulence in Turkey has led to a surge in swapping the local currency for cryptocurrencies despite their price volatility. Based on the recent survey, Turkey has the 4th highest rate of cryptocurrency use out of 74 countries.

According to research by Statista, Turkish Republic is the fourth country in the use of cryptocurrency (after Nigeria, Vietnam and the Philippines), 16% of Turks are cryptocurrency holders. With the more and more growing popularity of the crypto market in Turkey, the government’s concerns about using cryptocurrencies for illegitimate activities such as money laundering, terrorist financing, and tax evasion have gradually increased.

“Our main aim is to incentivize, popularize the wide adoption of Free TON Blockchain in Turkey with the well-defined strategy."

With this pace of negative events, the majority of Turkish citizens are investing in cryptocurrencies as one of the ways to save their funds or use it as a payment method as well. Taking into account all the above mentioned economic, financial and political issues, it’s the right time to enter the Turkish market and to deliver the goal of DeFi as one of the options of an alternative financial system that is built bottom-up, completely decentralized, censorship-free, low-fee, fully-automated and without counterparty risk.

By creating the solid DeFi infrastructure, we will boost the wide adoption of Free TON blockchain, attract and engage with blockchain enthusiasts, communities, developers, supporters, evangelists in Turkey. Importantly we will create an effective and transparent sub-governance along with massive circulation of TON among Turkish people.

2. Problem statement

Based on the research, there is a high demand for productive and active implementation and usage of crypto assets (coins) in the daily life of Turkish people. The majority of crypto users are void of full knowledge of the Free TON blockchain and they are incapable of differentiating between Free TON and other existing protocols.

We will show our Turkish community how Free TON might be a fast, secure and scalable blockchain capable of handling millions of transactions per second in a cost-efficient way, and both user-friendly and service provider-friendly by engaging and assisting them in real practicing tasks along with rewards and bonuses. We will deliver the information and showcase Free TON implementation by hosting online/offline meet-ups, events, and small talks in all the possible social media channels.

3. Project objectives

“Our mission is to communicate, promote, and support Free TON SG in Turkey by connecting with strategic partners, potential investors, think-tank leaders in the blockchain and crypto community. “

One of the fundamental objectives of creating Free TON SG in Turkey are the following below:

To develop the DeFi ecosystem that will ensure Free TON blockchain
To boost the wide adoption of Free TON
To create the solid infrastructure layer to provide an entrance of key partners to the Free TON DeFi ecosystem
To switch of current market leaders to Free TON from Ethereum and other blockchains
To bring a new and rally a potentially global audience with more developed technical solutions for Free TON
To attract and engage with blockchain enthusiasts, communities, developers, supporters, evangelists in the area of DeFi all over the world and increase the community

Hello, dear community members! I am Royal, I am a content creator and a translator in the Wiki Subgovernance. I hope some of you may remember me from having articles like Glossary of terms, wallets and the idea of Turkish SG.

A while back, we (my colleague @vgrichii made the speech during our ZOOM call, I was unable to. Free TON Weekly Meetup #52. DeNS presentation - YouTube) introduced our Turkish SG idea to the community during a ZOOM meetup, we discussed some ideas, generally marketing side of our proposal was liked, however we were told to have some developer members.

We sought out some technical developer members, and 2 business developer members. These people are mostly from DeFi, if I am not mistaken. Initially they looked like a trustworthy, professional people, however as time got advanced, we were suspicious.

Now, after being explained the details and essential marks, they want to “steal” the Turkish SG idea, move forward with it with “their own team”. I do not even know if this team is based in Turkey. We have parted ways with them.

I am letting you know, these people did not know anything about Free TON side of Subgovernance, or anything associated with it. During the conference calls, my colleague and I, we were explaining such details to this team.

I am also letting you know that, I am the original author of the real, authentic idea of Turkish SG, and I will implement this proposal as soon as I find trustworthy developers who can contribute to our community. This was the only thing lacking in our proposal, as mentioned by dear community members in our weekly meetup ZOOM call.

Meanwhile, if the community supports the “newcomers”, the “newcomer Turkish SG proposal”, it might end up like Influencers and the Mexican SubGov.

Please, tread carefully. These people will try to post their version of proposal soon on the forum. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Теперь, после того, как им объяснили детали и важные отметки, они хотят «украсть» идею турецкой SG, и провозал, который мы продемонтрировали на зум встрече, продвигаться с ней «своей собственной командой». Я даже не знаю, базируется ли эта команда в Турции. Мы с ними расстались. Но я точно знаю, что девушка, которая продвигает себя как лидера этой группы даже не говорит по турецки (а если говорит, то очень плохо и плохо понимает, это стало понятно из случая когда один из потенциальный мемберов говорил по турецки, она извинилась и попросила перейти на английский , при том что все остальные всё хорошо понимали)

Сообщаю вам, что эти люди ничего не знали о Free TON об идее создания турецкого подуправления или о чем-либо, связанном с этим. Во время зум-встреч мы с коллегой объясняли этой команде такие детали. они пришли к нам только после этой зум-встречи.

Я также сообщаю вам, что я являюсь первоначальным автором настоящей, аутентичной идеи турецкой SG, и я буду реализовывать это предложение, как только найду надежных разработчиков, которые могут внести свой вклад в наше сообщество. Это было единственное, чего не хватало в нашем предложении, о чем говорили уважаемые члены сообщества во время нашей еженедельной встречи ZOOM (к сожалению видео не сохранилось, но если нужно могу скинуть аудио файлом)

Между тем, если сообщество поддержит «новичков», это может кончиться тем, чем кончилось сабгов инфлюенсеров и сабгов Мексики. Это люди, которые изначально знают друг друга в реальной жизни, ничего им не помешает подписать всего лишь один раз поставить подписи в мультисиге, в результате которой они просто могут вывести все средства.

Единственное что поменяли опубликовавшие это предложение, это то что они удалили наши имена.

Я хочу, чтобы они объяснили почему так, в последний раз мы договорились, чтобы они решили все вопросы по их ролям в сабгове до 25 августа, а сегодня они сказали пока ребятки, у нас будет собственный сабгов с блекджеком и турецкой баклавой

Если им одобрят все тоны которые они запрашивают и они создадут турецкий сабгов, то мы не можем подать на создадение второго турецкого сабгова. То есть по сути у них будут тоны стимулирующие их работу (если они конечно не соскамятся), а у нас будет ничего, это не конкуренция. Поэтому единственное , что хочу это предостеречь ведь все что до этого на турецком было это не они делали, а мы.

What? Please don’t make inaccurate statements C_Support050. Nothing has been accepted. You are misinforming and misleading people.

This proposal needs A LOT of work!

No one is giving anyone any TONs for “administrative work”. There is no such thing in Free TON. Identifying new members doesn’t qualify for any tokens. It’s something you should do on your own.
There is no such thing as “remuneration” on Free TON. I don’t understand why it’s taking people so long to figure this out. Free TON is not your employer and never will be. You do, you get. Not the other way around.
Please do not use old subgov proposals as a template. Those days are over.
All I see is marketing this and PR that. This is a proven waste of tokens. If you want people to come and buy the TON Crystal, do all the legwork yourselves. Setting up a YouTube channel costs zero. Setting up and marketing Free TON through your social media accounts costs nothing. You have to do all of these things before making a proposal.
Your numbers are way too high. Everything is based strictly on KPIs. Get a few thousand TONs, provide results, propose tokens for the next KPI, it goes to a vote, then you get more. There is no other way.
As I understand it there were some members who were sidestepped. Bring them back
Initial members should have several proven professionals from reputable companies behind them. This is now something that is expected of every country based subgov (although I personally am not a fan of country based subgovs in general). This way there is a reputation behind them and something to lose in case your subgov fails or any hanky-panky occurs with the tokens you receive. Professionals won’t take the risk of ruining their reputations.

In short, this needs a lot of work and is nowhere near something that is suitable as-is. You still have quite a road ahead of you before this proposal is ripe.

This is my opinion.

Absolutely, country-based SubGovs have the problems as there are already few examples and tokens were entered into the pockets of bad people. Personally, I think the diversity of the initials is the key to success in every SubGov :))

Dear FreeTON community and its bright enthusiasts & supporters!

Today we have submitted FreeTON SG Turkey to the community.

Please, let us clarify some unproved assertions and close this matter.

1) To begin with, we suppose that Royal and his teammates have worked in collaboration with Michael Kabanov, who is known to have a shady reputation within a Free TON Community. We have seen that he left his comments on the initial Turkish SG proposal draft on the 4th of May.

2) There was no “stealing”. We were working together with the other team since the 5th of May.

Nodira, Ahmet, and Evgeniy made a research on the Turkish market and put the research statistics, the data, and inserted the main objectives of what will Turkish SG Subgovernance bring. As the main draft of the intended SG proposal was really obscure with a bunch of unprofessional marketing campaigns and there was no vision at all. Yusuf came up with an idea for the Turkish SG website and a bright insight on the Web development contest of a communication platform.

All in all, we have found 2 interested developers, provided detailed info on the web dev contest/activities, introduced to Royal’s team the idea of Exchange partnership, pushed the team for more details, and now we are accused of committing fraudulent actions.

If you need proof of our commitment to the creation of the Turkish SG proposal, then we propose to have a look at our joint Google Doc here and the document history with edits. Unfortunately, now we cannot see such history, as someone blocked it for viewing for our users.

However, earlier this day we took screenshots of the initial Turkish SG draft. Here you can see the difference between our final proposal and the initial draft.

Turkish SubGov version of 05.05.2021

There are 3 main concerns:

1) False accusation of “stealing” the proposal.
We made our proposal based on the practices of approved and successful proposals within the community. We have committed to proposal creation since the day we joined the team. We have supplemented and enriched the proposal with KPIs, which we undertake to fulfill for the allocated tokens.

2) Royal and Urfan claiming that they have written all by themselves.
You can compare the draft of their proposal and our final proposal.

3) Why have we decided not to work together?
Royal, Urfan, Elgun and Hamid are all journalists/content creators/translators, etc. They have almost the same skills and managerial responsibilities, and once the number of members in the group increased they again added 1 more person responsible for copywriting to be the initial member.
In addition, as you can see, there were no breakdown of activities at all. Sure thing it is a great idea, for example, of requesting 10 000 TON on advertising. However there are no KPIs or clear details of how it can be done (where?), how many views the ad will get (how?), etc. From our perspective, it is not what the community is looking for as one of the keys to success is to track all the activities and make detailed reposts upon requested tokens.

Сlaiming that our team has nothing to do with Turkey, they forgot to clarify that none of the members (Royal, Urfan, Elgun, and Hamid) are residing in Turkey. During our regular calls, this question was raised and Yorulmus lives in the Russian Federation, the remaining part of the team resides in Azerbaijan.

On the contrary, Ahmet and Yusuf are Turkish citizens and Nodira is an Uzbek citizen and she has an intermediate level of the Turkish language. However, our main working language is English as we position ourselves as a multinational team that shares valuable experience and moves forward to our established goals. Out of 5 Initials, 50% of them are Turkish speakers and reside in Turkey for real! We confirm these by providing the necessary documents if requested.

We would like to expand our team but with validated and truly professional members in the future.

4/5 of our team members were aware of Free TON before being invited to the Turkish SG joint group.

Taking into account all the above-mentioned misunderstandings and disputes, we can definitely state that when the specific team is creating something new on the market, there should be trust, not online trust but physical trust as well, where people can come and see you in person and make sure that you will not disappear one day.

Covering the concern regarding the PR and offline events of Aristotel user, we would like to host such events and it will help us to a better position on the market and build trust with the community.

We decided to start the Turkish SG in a small group of people, but we are more than interested in inviting professionals and new active members from different fields.

We are really happy to get connected with Royal’s team based in Azerbaijan. Initially, we were really aiming at cooperating with them but within this 1,5-2 month period, we could not find a strong reason to move forward. As by creating the Turkish SG, we are taking the responsibility and the risk on ourselves. Success is always concluded in team cooperation and transparency. They are free to become jurors of the SG and participate in all of the contests within the Turkish SubGovernance.

Юсуф продобно описал с идею и структуру веб-сайта Turkish SG и выступил с предложением о конкурсе разработки коммуникационной платформы.

Turkish SubGov версия от 05.05.2021

Есть 3 основные проблемы:

1) Ложное обвинение в «краже» пропоузала.
Мы написали наш пропоузал на основе одобренных и успешных пропоузалов в сообществе. С самого начала, как мы присоединились к группе, мы полностью видоизменили структуру документа. Обогатили важными данными и прописали для каждого участника их KPI, которые мы обязуемся выполнять.

2) Роял и Урфан утверждают, что написали все сами.
Вы можете сравнить черновик их предложения и наше окончательное предложение.

3) Почему мы решили не работать вместе?
Роял, Урфан, Эльгун и Хамид - журналисты / создатели контента / переводчики и т. д. То есть специалисты из одного сегмента бизнеса. У них примерно одинаковые навыки и управленческие обязанности. А когда количество предполагаемых иншиалов в группе увеличилось еще на 1 человека, ответственного за копирайтинг, мы немного озадачились.

Кроме того, как видите, подробной информации по каждому направлению деятельности в пропоузале не было вообще. Конечно, это “отличная идея”, например, запросить 10 000 TON на рекламу. Однако не было представлено KPI и подробных деталей того, каким образом будет происходить реклама (где?), сколько просмотров наберет реклама (как?) и т.д. На наш взгляд, это не то, что необходимо сообществу, так как ключ к успеху - это отслеживать все действия и делать подробные отчеты по запрошенным токенам.

Утверждая, что наша команда не имеет ничего общего с Турцией, они забыли уточнить, что никто из участников (Роял, Урфан, Эльгун и Хамид) не проживает в Турции. Во время наших регулярных звонков, когда поднимался этот вопрос, выяснилось что Йорулмуш живет в Российской Федерации, а остальная часть команды проживает в Азербайджане.

Напротив, Ахмет и Юсуф являются гражданами Турции, а Нодира - гражданкой Узбекистана и владеет турецким языком на среднем уровне. Однако наш основной рабочий язык - английский, поскольку мы позиционируем себя как многонациональная команда, которая делится ценным опытом и движется вперед к нашим поставленным целям. Из 5 инишиалов 50% из них говорят по-турецки и действительно проживают в Турции! Мы можем подтвердить это, предоставив необходимые документы по запросу.

Вся история документа доступна для просмотра, каждый пользователь может самостоятельно посмотреть сравнить версии и сделать сам для себя вывод кто какой вклад сделал в пропозал, в качестве аргумента они опубликовали самую первую версию документа, но даже если сравнить этот текст, то он сильно совпадает, второй момент в том что я и мой коллега Ричи сами “допиливали” пропозал после советов данных на зум втречах. Не буду прикреплять скриншоты, однако настоятельно рекомендуем изучить историю документа. Часто я замечал, что структуры предложений менялись, однако я не придавал этому большого значения, теперь понимаю, что эти было сделано для того, чтобы сказать “они отличаются”, однако все основные моменты совпадают и даже в этой случае они очень близки.
Документ создан 22 апреля текущего года, однако мы писали его весь апрель, затем 4 мая состоялась зум-встреча с членами Free TON сабговернанс и комьюнити Free TON. О нашем пропозале хорошо отозвались все участники, однако имели недостаток в том, что у нас не было девелопера, даже Александр Филатов в турецкой группе согласился со всем и посоветовал “начать с этого” (найти разработчика).
Спустя 10 дней мы наткнулись на Ахмета, который предложил себя в качестве мембера. Сначала он представился “разработчиком”, мы обрадовались и сказали “добро пожаловать”, но потом он сделал уточнение “бизнес-разработчик” (то есть это было что-то вроде рекламы бизнеса, что нам не особо требовалось, но мы не хотели его обидеть и ничего не сказали, стали думать над его ролью и заполнили таблицу), уже после этого “случайно” стали приходить все друзья Ахмета из проекта Dexpa (в том числе и сам Ахмет работает там), на странице Linkedin можно увидеть Ахмета, Евгения Власова и Дмитрия Лытякова.
Все они знают друг друга, поэтому ни о какой децентрализации речи быть не может. Это опасно не только потому что они могу соскамиться, но даже если они “не такие”, то любому хакеру достаточно взломать 3 аккаунта, чтобы иметь доступ 269 000 тонов в их мультисиге (если пропозал одобрят).
Что касается “аргумента” про Михаила Кабанова, мне ничего не известно о его “специфичной” репутации, ничего необычного за ним не наблюдал, однако его комментарий существует в документе, потому что он присутствовал на зум-встрече 4 мая (Free TON Weekly Meetup #52. DeNS presentation - YouTube), я с ним не знаком, однако и ничего плохого тоже сказать не могу.

I would like to really demonstrate the lies of Nodira and Ahmet.
