What’s all that about?
I’m going to attempt to try and see the issues here.
Some of you feel that the decision making processes have been under the final say of too small of a pool of initial members over all. Now, I’ve only been a part of Free TON for a couple of months, and have had no trouble whatsoever putting my ideas, suggestions, and comments forward.
Conversely, you also oppose the composition of this group of initial members, who, to reiterate, are made of some of the very talented folk over at Hackernoon, including @_thor, who has been very active in helping our community and learning our ecosystem in his time so far?
I understand there are rules in place which state a SG should follow certain requirements of adding value in certain ways before forming formally, but these things are meant to best serve the interest of Free TON ultimately, which is something this proposal most definitely does as I see it.
While I’ve no real knowledge of what’s been happening with attempts to form an Indian SG in the past, (which is a little bit of a concern as I have at least heard parts of the work being done in almost all other groups), if there are members in this group who have shown initiative and want to be a productive part of this SG then this is a positive thing, and should be discussed civilly, without the strange hamster stuff.
Let’s start encouraging talented newcomers to the ecosystem without an air of scepticism, and instead put best practises in place which make it better for everyone

After what happened to some partners, Influencer SG and to some other local SGs, no budget should be paid to any new partner or SG as an upfront or a multi-signatures account, since now on. It is what I’m talking about.
We have had a lot of bad experiences. As @XLR25t always says, we should learn from those lessons. The previous issues happened because main team didn’t give values to the opposite opinions and comments and voted for those partners and SGs. If they didn’t make those wrong decisions intentionally, we shouldn’t repeat a lesson (mistake) twice. If it is a community governed project, that is, everybody should be responsible and don’t repeat a mistake twice and it has a simple solution:
If anybody from main team or juriors thinks that one proposal is worth it to be paid upfront or through a multi-signatures account he should pay it from his own assets and later takes it back (after the results is achived and community members analyze the results).
Otherwise, I would say main team makes wrong decisions intentionally and makes benefits from this directly or indirectly.

It would have been good for you to discuss with the community and not ask for funds just contacting @XLR25t and @Roman_D in a community hidden backdoor approach
Free TON is a community controlled open network and have its uniqueness and importance because of same. You had been already selected a team outside of Free TON and they aren’t even member of Free TON. In a community controlled network community members are the power of network so just come single as a community member with your proposal and then select other initial members from the community.
Who are you? You haven’t described any type of information about your talents or influence but @XLR25t is saying you are talented guy from hackernoon so it’s obvious that you had contacted them in a community hidden discussion.

Who proposed any initiative for indian members and ask for support?
If a readymade team outside of free ton is coming with a pre-decided plan of their own, then why we are discussing here. Everything is already fixed behind a closed door and we can’t enter in that without permission, then how much free ton can stands for a community governance and decentralization.
Free TON shouldn’t controlled by a single mind because voice of community have also some importance and value.
If these types of events are permitted in the free ton then I want to suggest a idea on it, just come up with a airdrop of one million TONs to each reputated private company who wish to get some TONs. Then they can organize some contests on themselves and community will join these contests for prizes.

I’m indian and invited by @india to support the roadshow in india. if someone will see some benefits of free ton network then he will join free ton but how someone will be able to know about the benefits of free ton and that is the question for everyone. Any subgovernance can’t aware people about the benefits of network rather than it is just a system to join contests. But we need awareness about free ton in india and some special events for that

The main doubtful thing about free ton is its control, who controls the network?
I have joined the free ton as a community owned project but I noticed that everyone here is begging ton crystals from a single man @XLR25t . I thing @XLR25t belongs to TONLabs and have some type of power over initial members and they controls the whole free ton network. How can we say this network is belongs to community and aiming at decentralisation?

we are the real indian community which are proposing a free ton event to make an awareness campaign about Free TON in india with just 19k tons upfront for Free TON Roadshow worth anniversary celebration.
It is important to thing about awareness with timeline to do adoption more sooner.
After Free TON Roadshow there are chances of thousands new adoption in india creating a expanding cycles of new users.
