Free TON Esports Subgovernance Proposal
Summary
This document suggests the creation of Esports Subgovernance.
The mission of this Subgovernance is to promote Free TON in the gaming community, attract new people, and distribute tokens for achievements in tournaments.
This is achieved by hosting daily and weekly game tournaments with winners receiving their rewards in TON Crystal. The tournaments will be broadcasted on streaming websites such as Twitch / YouTube popularizing the Free TON.
Activities of Subgovernance members may include software development of tools to facilitate holding tournaments, audience engagement, and token distributions.
Role of Esports Mods and mechanism of Mods Report Proposals (MRP) are introduced to ensure transparency of activities held by Esports SG.
General description of the activities
- Free TON Esports Mods reach out to streamers and offer to participate in the tournament organization
- The streamer announces the tournament to their audience. Other marketing activities may be carried out to promote the tournament
- The audience joins Free TON Esports chat in Telegram.
- Participants play the tournament, streamers broadcast the event. Esports developers will maintain all required tools to assist tournament participants, perform accounting, evaluation of tournament results and distribute tokens to winners
- Free TON Esports Mods submit MRPs each 1-2 weeks
- In case if MRP passes, the Free TON Esports Mods receive compensation for their activity and expenses.
Free TON Esports Mods
Free TON Esports Mods reach out to streamers, hold tournaments, help players to submit applications, and confirm winning submissions after the game is finished. They recurrently submit MRPs.

Mods Report Proposals (MRP)
Esports Mods recurrently report on hosted tournaments, support, and development activities of Esports Subgovernance members and request TONs to distribute reward among Mods, streamers, gamers, supporters, and developers.
These reports should include:
- The time interval of the report
- Short description of events held and activities carried out during this period
- KPIs values
- The total amount of TONs spent on the prize pool and Subgovernance members remuneration

Free TON Esports Mods Contest
Short description
This is the first contest and it must be initiated and run by the Free TON Esports Initial Members.
This section describes how the Free TON Esports Mods Contest will take place. The Free TON Esports Mods are limited to voting only within the Free TON Esports Subgovernance structure. The duties of the Free TON Esports Mods are to reach out to streamers, hold tournaments, confirm tournament results, and submit MRPs recurrently.
This contest must be held again if the Free TON Esports Mods disbands for any reason.

The сontest entry period will be determined when the Free TON Esports Mods Contest is published.
Motivation
In the strive to decentralize Free TON Esports Subgovernance, so should the mods come from the community at large. This will help achieve the goal of decentralized Governance 2.0.
Contest submission requirements
Applicants must provide a description of their online activity that demonstrates one, all, or some of the following:
- Interest in video games and/or game industry
- Experience with streaming websites, preferably Twitch
- Proof of professional understanding of the context and objectives of Free TON
- Understanding the idea and goals of Free TON and Free TON Esports
These conditions may be changed or supplemented before the contest will launch.
Rights and duties of the winner as a member of the Free TON Esports Mods
Winners will be eligible to be a member of the Free TON Esports Mods in the future and will be able to submit MRPs and receive a reward according to particular MRP remuneration structure.
To receive the reward, a Mods member must do the following:
- Member of the Esports Mods must take an active part in Esports organizational activities
- Make sure his compensation is included in MRP.
These conditions may be changed or supplemented before the contest will launch.
Voting to elect Mods members for Free TON Esports
- Each of the existing Esports Mods can vote on your application to appoint you as a new member of the Free TON Esports Mods.
- Mods members, company, or team members who intend to participate in this competition cannot vote, even if they are active members of the mods.
- A mod must vote on a scale of 0-10 for each application, or may reject it if it does not meet the requirements, or may abstain from voting if the mod feels unqualified to judge the submission.
- The mod must provide feedback for each application.
These conditions may be changed or supplemented before the contest will launch.
Procedural remarks
- Participants must correctly upload their application to the Free TON Esports Mods Member contest (in PDF format) in order for the mods to view it. If the application is not available or does not meet the described criteria, the candidate will be rejected by the mods.
- Participants must submit their work before the end of the competition. If the application is submitted late, it will not be accepted.
- All submissions must contain the contestant’s contact information, including a Telegram ID by which mods can verify that the submission belongs to the individual who submitted it. If not, your submission will be rejected.
