Short description
Promote Free TON in social media offering catchy images with key features of the network.
Provide an opportunity to arrange, run and vote in the contest to those who think they can do better.
Type
Contest
Contest entry period
January, 18 — January, 25, 23:59 UTC.
Motivation #1
Forum users imagine the life and work of jurors as ‘money for nothing and chicks for free’. At the same time, there is a rumor that it’s very easy to organize scattered jury members to vote in a certain way.
The goal of this contest is to offer forum members who actively oppose the activities of WD Subgov, including voting and comments to submissions, to perform jurors’ duties within the proposed contest.
Votes should be fair and the comments to submissions should be accurate and thorough.
Motivation #2
The New Year greeting cards contest showed impressive results - 276 submissions, 64 winning places. The most massive contest from the launch of Free TON. Social media activity was also a plus.
At the same time, there were some problems with finding stock images, mis-submissions. A big number of winners didn’t make re-posts on Twitter stating that they won (and adding more virality to the contest).
Let’s try to improve the mechanism by knowing possible mistakes.
Alt Jury
22 community members similar to active WD Jury members.
Alt Jury selection mechanics
Alt Jury should be gathered from forum members who actively argued and questioned the performance of active WD Jury members.
Those who want to submit their candidacy for Alt Jury should have corresponding posts on the forum made before 05.01.2021.
The candidates should self-organize and select 22 members who will vote in this contest. A spreadsheet with forum profile link, TG name, wallet and public address should be created. Each Alt Jury member must sign DoD on-chain.
