Description

This contest is designed to motivate “New Supporters” to become active on Free TON chats and media. Currently, we see that only a few numbers of ordinary users are active in chats. This contest is for all of the individuals who have “not participated” in previous supporters and promotional contests yet. The aim is to appreciate “New Supporters” of Free TON Telegram chats and forums, as well as all other social media. It will help to expand the basic concepts of Free TON such as decentralization and freedom of speech, more rapidly and more justly.

Dates:

Sep 7, 2020 – Sep 17, 2020 (UTC time). You can submit your support activities within this time frame.

Motivation:

Reward contest for new supporters who have contributed to chat groups and forum engagement and moderation before Sep 7, 2020. The new supporters from other social media are welcome as well.

Evaluation Criteria:

Please submit descriptions and screenshots of the work you have done. Based on work performed, the jury will decide who has done the best job so far.

Important Note:

This contest is designed for “New Supporters”, and therefore submissions are not accepted from other supporters who have participated in previous “Supporters and Promotional Contests”. If the previous contestants participate in this contest, the jurors will “Reject” their submissions.

Voting:

Each jury member (Selected in Jury Selection 1.1) will vote by placing a number 1 through 10 next to each submission, with 10 being the best rating possible and 1 being the lowest.

Rewards:

The top 20 winners will be chosen based on ratings and receive awards as follows:

1st prize………………… 20,000 Tons

2nd prize…………………19,000 Tons

3rd prize…………………18,000 Tons

4th prize………………… 17,000 Tons

And so on…
.
.
.
Until 20th prize……….….1,000 Tons

In the event that more than 1 contestant receives the same ratings, the total related prize will be divided equally among them.

Jury Prize:

Jury members who vote…………. 5% of all total tokens awarded and distributed to winners.

Disclaimer:

Any new supporter can participate, but Free TON cannot distribute Tons to US citizens or US entities.

I like the idea of this contest.

As for the date of the contest, I would recommend writing it as

Sep 7, 2020 – Sep 17, 2020 (UTC time)

In accordance with the latest recommendations and mistakes when loading contests, the time should not be indicated, only the date.

The idea is very good.

Thoughts:

  1. I think proposal needs feedback from those who kept eye on previous contest. They will bring smth new in this proposal
  2. I think that not only in community chats we need supporters. I mean, there are LOTs of other chats, and small organizational help may be needed.
  3. Organizational issue: those who want to participate will identify each other by increased activity and start competition instead of just helping people
  4. You propose to kick previous supporters from receiving rewards. That’s not good. I understand why, but it should be resolved another way.

Having all this - my conclusion is that Supporters should self-organize. We need Community Support Subgovernance to handle community growth and be agile at the same time.

I can accept that some admins and moderators are better at their tasks. If they participate in all the contests, some other guys will never win and so they will get hopeless and then give up.

To have the best possible decentralization, we need the help of all guys, but not a few good ones. If all the guys get involved and they keep working, the best promotion ever will be achieved in near future.

So, this contest is designed for the guys who have not win till now. This will make them hopeful and TON will have their supports, as well.

Предалагю внести не только чаты и форум, а все информационные источники. Кто-то может активно вести себя в соц.сети агитируя за фритон и объясняя суть проекта.
И тем самым приведя в сообщество очень много новых людей, а так же консультируя их на начальных этапах.
