People want to give each other a New Year’s mood, including through financial incentives for cards. What’s wrong with that?
Now there are a lot of participants, in fact, the budget is normal.

this budget will be distributed to a sufficient number of participants.
some twitter tasks are already in.
What are you talking about?? 100 000 on postcards!! Would you ever spend this amount for the postcards out of your own funds?? In regards with “sufficient number of participants” - tell these fairytales to someone else. Everybody is aware at this point that more than 50% of submissions in W&D contests belong to several people.

Contest post was live for 17 days by now. How this is breaking news?
All the votes can be seen in the blockchain, it’s not a secret voting or something.
Prize model: essay - 120+ submissions, video - 80+ submissions. Based on this data, we expect to see lots of submissions as the entry level (difficulty of creation) is much lower compared to video. Though, there is 6+ points to get rewards.
I hope that we will have 500+ submissions and 100+ of them will have 6+ points. We will see in 2 days.
This is an experiment of prize distribution amongst a vast number of participants. Nobody did that before nor tested. But such mechanism should be developed sooner or later.
