If a few people missed out, and as long is adds value and makes sense, i.e., not just repeating for the sake of repetitiveness, I see no reason why we can’t run this contest a second time. I’m ok with that. Let them participate I say. It would be different if the reason was simply to do it just because someone wants more tokens. This is clearly not the case here.

Contest: nomination to the YPO Global Student Entrepreneurship Awards program 2.0
Contest dates
Submission period: November 18 - November 25, 2020 at 23:59 UTC
Voting cycle
8 days
Background and Description
YPO (ypo.org - Young Presidents Organization) is the world’s largest and most prestigious business club of 27,000 young CEOs and owners of businesses under 45 y.o. One of the missions of YPO is to engage the younger generation into entrepreneurship and award the best young entrepreneurs. This is exactly the mission behind the annual GSEA (Global Student Entrepreneurship Awards) program where the best students from around the world submit their projects. Free TON was lucky enough to get a chance this year to come up with its own nomination, namely “Blockchain/Decentralized Systems and Applications” to the best students in the industry. This year it is for a pilot for projects for Russian nationals in any part of the world. Upon success the project could be scaled for a global audience next year.
Motivation
Free TON gets a chance to see and support the best students/graduates under 30 y.o. Who have blockchain projects with some revenue behind them, i.e., ongoing projects that have passed beyond the MVP phase. Winners will receive prizes as well as a chance to receive additional support with TON tokens to migrate their projects to Free TON, or to execute integration with Free TON. Additional rewards will be subject to additional diligence and potentially separate partnership proposals within the processes established in the Free TON community (see below).
General requirements
Admission criteria:
• Applicants must be Russian nationals (based in any part of the world) under 35 y.o.
• Applicants must be confirmed founders or co-founders of the project with an equity position >25%
• Projects should have a functional product and positive revenue (of any size)
• Projects should have exposure to blockchain/decentralized systems and applications.
Submissions must include:
• An overall presentation of the project in a classic format, describing the market, product, competitive outlook, business model, status of the project, team, etc.
• A description of the blockchain/decentralized system and its applications.
• Preliminary considerations of a possible engagement with Free TON or its native TON Crystal token, or a migration path to Free TON, as well as a description of the benefits to the Free TON network.
• Telegram ID and email of the contestant.
Evaluation criteria
1 Fundamental value and potential of the project, which is a combination of product strength, team strength, product-to-market fit, phase of the product, etc. This criteria represents 50% of the score.
2 Impact aspect of the project, including how it can improve the lives of people around the world and make this planet a better place to live – 25% of the score.
3 Potential added value of the project to the Free TON ecosystem – 25% of the score
Rewards
1st place……………………….….15,000 TONs
2nd place………………………….10,000 TONs
3rd place………….…………………5,000 TONs
4th - 20th place…………………….1,000 TONs
Special rewards
Projects deemed to represent significant added value to the Free TON ecosystem will automatically be entitled to an additional 50,000 TONs, subject to additional due diligence and validation of integration/migration costs.
Projects deemed to represent significant added value to the Free TON ecosystem, but where the integration/migration costs are estimated to exceed 50,000 TONs will need to go through the partnership proposal process that is established in the Free TON ecosystem.
A process to decide on the above would be developed prior to the submission deadline.
Voting
• For submissions that are deeply technological, the juror must have a solid understanding of the described technology in order to provide a score and feedback. If not, the juror should choose to “Abstain”.
• Jurors or whose team(s) intend to participate in this contest by providing submissions lose their right to vote in this contest.
• Each juror will vote by rating each submission on a scale of 1 to 10 or can choose to reject it if it does not meet requirements or vote “Abstain” if they feel unqualified to judge.
• Jurors must provide feedback on submissions or lose their reward.
• The Jury will reject duplicate, sub-par, incomplete, or inappropriate submissions.
• The number of days for jury voting is hereby set at 8 days
Jury rewards
An amount equal to 5% of the sum total of all total tokens awarded to contest winners will be distributed among jurors who vote and provide feedback. This percentage will be awarded on the following basis:
• The percentage of tokens awarded to the jury will be distributed based on the number of votes each juror casts. For example, if one juror votes 50 times and another juror votes 5 times, the juror who votes 50 times will get 10 times more tokens than the juror who votes 5 times.
• Feedback is mandatory in order to collect any rewards.
Procedural reminders to all contestants
Accessibility. All submissions must be accessible for the Jury to open and view, so please double-check your submission. If the submission is inaccessible or does not fit the criteria described, jurors may reject the submission.
Timing. Contestants must submit their work before the closing of the filing of applications. If not submitted on time, the submission will not count.
Contact information. All submissions must contain the contestant’s contact information, preferably a Telegram ID by which jurors can verify that the submission belongs to the individual who submitted it. If not, jurors may reject your submission.
Content. Please submit in PDF format. If all or a portion of the content is not in PDF format, then please submit a PDF with links to the content, otherwise jurors may reject the submission.
Well-formed links. If your submission has links to the work performed, the content of those links must match the contestant’s contact details, preferably a Telegram ID, so jurors can match it and verify whom the work belongs to. If not, jurors may reject your submission.
Multiple submissions.
• Each contestant has the right to provide several submissions if they are all different from one-another. If they are too similar, or in any way appear to be partially the same work done twice, or if they appear to be one whole body of work divided into parts in order to create several submissions, jurors have the right to reject such submissions.
• If the contestant wants to make an additional submission in order to replace a previously published submission, the contestant must inform the jury about this fact and indicate which submission is the one to be judged. In this case only the indicated work will count. If the contestant fails to indicate which submission to judge, only the first submission made will count. The Jury will reject all others.
Disclaimer
Anyone can participate, but Free TON cannot distribute Tons to US citizens or US entities.
With corrected date for the second wave, effective tomorrow
Yes of corse. It’s simply to reflect that YPO prolonged the deadline to give finalists until Dec 4. So we can take more submissions benefitting from continuing PR by YPO and EO.
