I toyed with the idea how combot can partner with Free TON and here is what I think.
Combot is added to many chats. So, he ‘knows’ users there. Combot also can track the topic/theme of the chat (I guess), thus, we can separate housewives from IT guys or crypto fans. If he doesn’t know the chat’s topic - point of another discussion.
Imagine that we can pick ALL crypto-chats. In all languages. This is our core and highly valued audience. May be these won’t be all crypto-chats around the globe but we can track a lot.
These are the chats we want to work with in the pilot of our project. We don’t have to tell those people about crypto, we need to deliver them to Free TON (or vice versa).
We make a drop to admins with 100 TONs (example figure). Combot says - hey, this is for you. But! We have dropped 1 TON to all your active (say, 1 message last 30 days) chat members.
Now we have two options:
- admin announces in the chat that everybody got 1 TON in their pocket; problem solved!
- admin ignores the message; now it’s guerrilla marketing and voice of mouth (it can be helped from bloggers etc to start the wave); we have even more hype - problem solved.
The tech part as I see it:
- combot needs a version for users (not admins) - ‘people’s version’
- this version needs to automatically create a wallet which is hooked to telegram id
- tiny options like send and receive coins via the bot is not a huge pain
- ideally, combot should be able to connect with chatex bot (at least, just to show the buy/sell offers for TON) - this solves the problem of getting more TONs at an instant
(there might be some other steps to evolve the functionality of the bot but we won’t speak about them at this stage)
Thus, this pilot project enables us to connect to crypto-audience of which combot is informed. These are 10 or 100 of thousands people.
Next steps when we study and attract just IT guys (again, a more easy to drag into crypto audience) etc. This might be a BLAST.

- Which groups? Our own? They are for support only. We will share an announecement via personal messages when we will finish the implementation.
BTW it is almost done, the only thing left is the paid promo in Top Chats, because we need to redone the entire Top Chats, it sucks now.

but in current state just by integration and letting the user-base to use TON to /rain /tips etc.
it doesn’t bring that much user for Free TON.
you can add an #ad line at the bottom of the messages to inform integration with TON. without that really won’t have effectiveness !

Absolutely not. The proposal does not contain anything like that. Really, man, only scam projects flood the internet with such things, it’s lame and non-professional.
Please, read the proposal carefully.
“Unique users brought to Free TON” are essentially any users who have withdrawn their funds to an external wallet or who have sent their funds to other users (for instance, using /tip command).
The proposal is approved with this exact definition of users. Let’s not invent new definitions retrospectively.
If you want to see anytning else in the definition of the new users , you may make suggestion to the Governance, I suppose, but make sure that the KPIs and the proposal will need to be changed too.
For example, FreeTON channel subscribers will not cost 3 Crystals, but 30 or even more, because people do such actions with 1% conversion (in best scenario).

This is our quick Progress Report.
What is already done?
Summary
- 6,700 active wallets (off-chain)
- 58,000 transactions
- Free TON seamlessly integrated
- /rain used 3,600 times in group chats
- Users sent funds to other users 7,100 times (including /tip or /send)
Details
- We fully implemented the TONs into the Combot.

Users are allowed to buy premium features using TON Crystals. Not so much payments RN, but they’re all from the “market” - our clients use TONs which they bought themselves.
20 of them for now. We do not expect that this number will grow exponentially in recent days. -
Cashback. For every payment on combot.org (not using TON Crystals), users get 10 TON Crystals as "cashback.”
~500 of them. Please, take note that it doesn’t mean that our clients use their cashback for something. We are looking at the organic adoption right now and will make more mechanics improve their TONs UX. -
The wallet. Users can deposit and withdraw TON Crystals on combot.org. Each user automatically gets a wallet.
They don’t appear on-chain automatically. Instead, they initialize with an outside transaction - this is typical behavior when someone uses internal wallets.
We plan to make a fully functional wallet with web- and bot- interfaces beyond our initial proposal. No ETA, though. -
We’ve also made integrations with LottoTON and PokerTON

!tip and !send were implemented. Any user can send TON Crystals to any other user within the group chat, provided that Combot is present in the group.
You’ve already noticed that, and you use this function. We’re not making any specific promo for this function due to the previously described reason: we want to understand the natural adoption fully, to see the real issues, pros, and contras. For example, some Crypto groups ban those who use this function because TONs and FreeTON are their competitors. We respect our client’s desires. -
Group wallets were introduced. Each group has its own wallet. For now, all of the administrators can use’em. I suppose we will develop this functionality with time when it gains more adoption. Multisig, and so on. Again, no ETA.

/rain command was added, users can “rain” funds from their wallet, they will be distributed among active users. Already quite a popular function, but please, avoid using it for spam. However, anyone from you can use our Top Groups (https://combot.org/telegram/top/groups) list and throw some TON’s in ppl from the top chats

Currently, there is no way to affect your position. This will be done in days; we’ve made some changes to a Top Groups code.

And if yes, are their admins notified about it, else they will never find out about this.
No, not yet. As I’ve mentioned, we are considering how to do it with the highest impact.

I was asking about this part, where top Telegram groups will get some crystal to be distributed among group members.
Also I will suggest, if you plan to distribute crystals, it can be like a claim basis. After receiving notification through Combot, if user logs in to Combot, and then they can get a “Claim Your TON Crystal” button to receive freeton crystal in their wallet.

Ah, this part! Sorry, I’ve misunderstood you. Agreed that it can be done via claim! Exactly our thoughts for now. Only claim mechanic can prevent airdropping to nowhere.

Hello, community! It has been quite a while since we entered into a partnership. Life has not stood still; a lot (you know what) has happened, and it’s time for us to report on progress and apply for a new tranche.
So.
#cashback
We have given away 77,000 Evers as part of the cashback program, 10 to each purchaser of a paid subscription.
Accordingly, we ask for 100,000 EVER - as part of the compensation for the already paid cashback and a small advance for the remaining payments. There are 23,000 left to meet our KPI of 100,000.
#actions & users
Seventy-two thousand transfers were made within Combot, which now has about 15,000 active Everscale users (those who used their wallet at least once by sending coins to somebody else).
As part of this clause, we have agreed with you to compensate 3 Ever for each active user, which in total is 45,000.
#payments
One hundred thirty-two chats from private licenses were paid by Ever, 11 - from commercial ones. And no, these were not official Everscale chats 
Bottom line, we ask the community for the first additional tranche of 145,000 Ever, 100 as part of the cashback compensation and 45 as part of the user program.
