AFRICAN SUB GOVERNANCE – INTEGRATION MODERATORS

Description
The Free TON Africa Sub Governance wishes to engage the greater African continent in the
Southern, Francophone (Central Africa) and Arabic (North Africa) regions that are currently
not properly represented in any Free TON platform.
The African SG has begun contact with some of the countries namely, Zimbabwe,
Botswana and South Africa in the southern region, DRC Congo, Benin and Cameroon in the
central region, and Morocco, Sudan and Tunisia in the Arab Speaking northern region.
This proposal will identify and bring on board community mobilizers (hereby identified as
community moderators) within these regions of the African continent. These regions have a
substantial population who face many daily challenges, and this initiative is mainly to recruit
new members from these regions and linking them with the rest of the continent through
partnerships with Free TON and other Free TON global partners.

Motivation
Engaging, recruiting and integrating the various communities in the greater African space
into the Free TON ecosystem as one unit by appointing community moderators.
Similarly, focusing on bringing the many blockchain adoption advantages to the unbanked
and educating the same. Identifying the leaders within these communities will be our first
step and thereafter roll out user case solutions to these regions.
Requirements for participants:
Members of Free TON who have an understanding and are motivated enough to represent
Free TON in these regions namely southern, central and northern Africa are welcome to
compete.
The applicants should also be actively involved and have an above par interest in the Free
TON Network and its decentralization policy.
Each contestant will provide (in PDF format) a summary of their bio and contact information,
their skills and experience, and country or region where they plan to implement their
program, and the language to use.
Contestants will have to add a short essay on why they think they are the best candidate to
be selected as a moderator of any of the 3 regions.
Individuals who have the necessary skills in bringing the numbers to Free TON are
encouraged to apply.
Applicants should provide an action plan for the recruitment of new members from the
country or region to engage. Program duration for the action plan should not be longer than
3 months. Candidates should submit quantifiable planned actions and activities, which
should be accompanied by expected KPI. Completing KPI will determine the final reward of
each Moderator. To validate KPI, contestants can use, for example, user profile information,
Google forms and/or questionnaires, access to various analytics systems and/or other
audited data to make an appropriate assessment of these users (Real people or partners
who became members of the Free TON community through their efforts). Contestants can
also offer their own transparent method of validation.
Winning Criteria:
As a prerequisite, a contestant’s previous experience, knowledge and character, will
demonstrate the ability to perform this task.
Clear and well defined KPI’s that indicate a predictable and positive result of promoting Free
TON and its potential for reaching users in the future.
Each moderator applicant will present an estimated cost of their proposed program and
their remuneration calculated in TON Crystal. Therefore, the corresponding final estimate of
the cost of your actions and the result of your work will be additionally taken into account.
Rewards:
A number of winning contestants in each of these regions will receive 300 TON Crystals as
a welcome reward.
Voting:
Free TON Africa Sub Governance initial members can vote for a submission.
African Community Sub-Governance initial members can’t participate in this contest.
Each of the Free TON Africa Sub Governance initial members will vote by evaluating each
submission on a scale of 1 to 10. They may reject it if it does not meet the requirements, or
may abstain from voting if they consider having no rights to judge.
The juror must have a solid understanding of the described subject in order to provide a
score and feedback. If not, the juror should choose to “Abstain”.
Jurors must provide feedback on submissions or lose their reward.
Jury will reject duplicate, incomplete or inappropriate submissions.
Jury rewards:
An amount equal to 50% of the sum total of all total tokens awarded to contest winners will
be distributed among jurors who vote and provide feedback. This percentage will be
awarded on the following basis:
The percentage of tokens awarded to the jury will be distributed based on the number of
votes each juror casts. For example, if one juror votes 50 times and another juror votes 5
times, the juror who votes 50 times will get 10 times more tokens than the juror who votes 5
times.
Feedback is mandatory in order to collect any rewards.
Procedural requirements:
All submissions must be accessible for the jury to open and view, so please double-check
your submission. If the submission is inaccessible or does not fit the criteria described,
jurors may reject the submission.
Contestants must submit their work before the closing of the filing of applications. If not
submitted on time, the submission will not count.
Please submit in PDF format. If all or a portion of the original content cannot be in the form
of a PDF, simply submit a PDF with links to that original content. Such links must be to files
that cannot be edited during the voting phase. If the file links are editable after voting, the
jury will reject your submission. The message in the topic of the contest, which you refer to
when submitting, must contain your contact information.
Each submission must have an identifiable contact that can be matched with your
description. If you have not provided a forum description for discussion, then your
application should contain links to your online persona, for example, a Telegram ID
(preferred) or other direct contact information that can confirm that the submitted work is
yours. In the absence of confirmation, by the contestant, of the authorship of the submitted
work, the submission is rejected.
Multi-entry of submissions is not allowed. In case of a duplicate entry, the contestant will
have to clearly indicate the correct one and point out the duplicate to be cancelled.
