#37 Wiki SG Contest Proposal: Jury Selection

Description

Update the decentralized Wiki jury from among the Free TON community members who are willing to spend time and effort studying, interpreting, analyzing, voting and providing qualified feedback for participants in contests held in the Free TON Wiki SG.

Type

Contest

Contest entry period

20.08.2021 00:00 UTC – 15.09.2021 23:59 UTC

Motivation

In order to decentralize the processes in the Free TON Wiki SG and achieve the goals of decentralized Subgovernance, the jury must be selected from the community.

Mandatory requirements

  1. The contestant must submit a curriculum vitae that demonstrates one, all, or some of the following:

1.1. Be a member of the Free TON community and sign the DoD.
1.2. Be an active member of the Free TON and/or Free TON Wiki community.
1.3. Bring real benefit to growth of the Free TON and/or Free TON Wiki.

  2. The contestant will have to go through a video meeting in Zoom with an initiative group of members (hereinafter “Meetup”), in order to prevent fake persons and/or multi-accounts in Wiki Jury. However, we do not and will never require any proof of identity.

2.1. The contestant will be required to complete the Meetup with live video no later than 48 hours prior to the end of the contest.
2.2. To participate in the Meetup, the contestant must first send a submission to the contest.
2.3. Contestants who have evaded Meetup for any reason or who have made it impossible to recognize their faces in the video (for example, video blackouts, poor lighting, poor communication, etc.) will not be admitted to Wiki Jury and their submissions will be rejected by the judges.
2.4. Meetup with the contestants is conducted by an initiative group of Wiki SG members, the composition of which is subject to change.
2.5. The dates and times of the Meetups will be pre-scheduled several times so that all contestants have time to go through it. The corresponding announcements will be published in the official Telegram channels of the Free TON Wiki (EN, RU).
2.6. Exceptions to rules 2.1 and 2.2 are possible at the discretion of the initiative group of Wiki SG members, but this is not guaranteed.

  3. The contestant must indicate in the submission the following mandatory data:

    3.1. Telegram username.
3.2. Free TON address (wallet), which he/she will then use for voting as a future judge.
3.3. The public key corresponding to this address above.

  4. A contestant can submit only one submission to the contest. If a contestant has submitted an erroneous or invalid submission, then he/she must notify the judges which submission is correct so that the judges vote for it. In this case, the rest of the submissions will be rejected.

Pass criterion

  1. The contestant will be considered the winner if his/her submission receives an average score of 7.0 or more.
  2. The contestant will be considered a loser if his/her submission receives a lower score than specified in point 1 above or receives at least 50% + 1 rejects.

Winner rights and duties

  1. The winners of the contest will receive the rights and duties of a judge in all Free TON Wiki contests in the future and will receive a reward for judging as determined by the accepted Wiki SG proposals and the rules of each contest.

  2. A judge has the right to vote in Wiki SG contests in which he participates, but is not allowed to vote for own submission. Self-vote is not counted or rewarded.

  3. As the civic duty dictates, each judge must remain objective to the best of his ability with regard to voting, that is, stick to facts and facts, leaving aside any personal feelings.

Disqualification of judges

A judge who violates the following requirements may be disqualified and excluded from the Wiki SG judges based on the relevant Wiki SG proposal.

  1. Voting with violations of the judging rules of the corresponding contest for 2 or more contests in a row.

  2. Skipping voting for 2 or more contests in a row.

The requirements for judges in this section will continue after the end of the contest and will apply to all active SG Wiki judges.

Jury voting

  1. The reward of judges for this contest will be 5000 Tons, which will be divided among the judges in proportion to the votes made and counted.

  2. A judge can vote for any submission (of a contestant) to become a Wiki SG judge.

  3. The judge must vote by rating each submission on a scale of 1 to 10, or may reject the submission if it does not meet the mandatory requirements, or the judge may abstain from voting.

  4. The judge must provide meaningful and helpful feedback for each submission he votes for.

  5. The judge must put a Reject on the submission if it violates one or more of the mandatory requirements of the contest in the section of the same name.

  6. If the judge did not vote on a submission, or the judge did not provide useful feedback, or the judge did not reject a submission that violates a mandatory requirement that should have been rejected, then that vote will be invalid and the judge will not be rewarded for that vote.

Procedural remarks

  • Contestants must correctly upload their application to the contest (in PDF format) in order for the jury to view it. If the application is not available or does not meet the described criteria, the submission will be rejected by the jury.

  • Contestants must submit their work before the end of the contest. If the submission is submitted late, it will not be accepted.

  • All submissions must contain the contestant’s contact information, including a Telegram username, by which jurors can verify that the submission belongs to the individual who submitted it. If not, the submission will be rejected.

  • If the submission has links to the work performed, the content of those links must have the contestant’s contact details and Telegram username, so jurors can match it and verify who the work belongs to. If not, the submission will be rejected.

wiki

Free Ton

Это автоматически генерируемое содержание из заголовков страницы.
А какую структуру вы считаете правильной?
