Dear participants of the DePools Validators Contest!

We have all been waiting for this contest for a long time to test DePools capabilities for validators.

But the beginning turned out to be difficult and not all validators managed to get their stakes before the elections. The terms of the competition and instructions do not say that steaks cannot be sent to the polls during the elections for any reason. As it turned out, deploying a wallet or receiving a blocked amount after the start of the election made it impossible to send a stake to participate in the next validation cycle.

In this regard, I suggest that the developers accept the first cycle as a technical one and not take it into account in the results of the competition. And I ask the participants who have encountered this to support my proposal.

Уважаемые участники конкурса DePools Validators Contest!

Все мы долго ждали этот конкурс для тестирования возможностей DePools для валидаторов.

Но начало выдалось трудным и не все валидаторы успели до выборов получить свои стейки. В условиях конкурса и инструкции не сказано, что нельзя отправлять стейки на выборы во время выборов по какой-бы то ни было причине. Как выяснилось, развертывание кошелька или получение заблокированной суммы после начала выборов привело к невозможности отправить стейк для участия в следующем цикле валидации.

В связи с этим, предлагаю разработчикам принять первый цикл в качестве технического и не учитывать его в результатах конкурса. А участников, столкнувшихся с этим, прошу поддержать моё предложение.

Совершенно очевидно, что без подводных камней невозможно обеспечить такой запуск. Прошли те, кто был быстрее, кто успел сделать деплой и заполнить форму (на это были сутки точно). Поддерживая отсрочку на следующий цикл, вы обесцениваете их усилия, как первопроходцев.

В реальной жизни сети никто никого ждать не будет.

Согласен полностью с вышесказанным, я тоже не подался, но проблемы не в сложности конкурса, а человеческий фактор. Времени было много, помогали всем, кому нужна была помощь. Претензий не имею, будем догонять, еще 4 недели. Данное предложение не поддерживаю.

I support the proposal.
The point is not that somebody was fast or somebody did not have time. The point is the deadline for filing the google form was not specified anywhere in the rules. I could dedicate half a day on Tuesday and half a day on Wednesday, but I decided spend a full day on Wednesday for this, so as not to be distracted. This did not contradict anything. I think this is a lack of information in the contest description because of unnecessary rush and FOMO.

Дело не в том, что успел или не успел, а в том, что нигде в правилах не было указан срок подачи заявки. Я мог выделить полдня во вторник и полдня в среду, но решил выделить полный день в среду, что бы не отвлекаться, т.к. это ничему не противоречило. Думаю, это недостаток информации в описании конкурса из-за лишней спешки и ФОМО.

In fact the timetable of contest is disappointing and misleading, because it do not relate to the fact that DePool setup should be done before any mentioned periods in that timetable!! So I suppose many participants thought such way like timetable proposed and was not ready in time.
The fact that DePools behaviour is more complex and need to be deployed before any periods from timetable and even organisers, i.e. Mr.Zaitsev, didn’t know that (!)
I think it would be fair to skip first round (or even give some more time for Korean Community).

Переносить начало подсчета из-за того, что большинство не успело, так как оставили все на последний момент - не честно по отношению к тем, кто заранее потратил свое время, чтобы подойти в началу выборов уже полностью подготовленным.

В случае отмены, они будут лишены заслуженных и практически гарантированных призов. Все 73 подавшихся кандидата располагали точно такой же информацией как и все остальные. Единственное отличие — максимально ответственный подход к участию в конкурсе.

Демотивирует то, что в условиях довольно жесткой конкуренции в конкурсе, условия могут быть сдвинуты в сторону менее организованных участников.

Тем более, что для для получения лучшего реварда нужно стараться быть выбранным в мастерчейн, на что также влияет скорость подачи заявки на выборы при условии одинаковых стейков (которые на данный момент одинаковы) А лучший ревард, в свою очередь, это основной критерий для победы в текущем конкурсе.

p.s. Протестировать возможности DePool можно еще в течении целого месяца, и возможно даже получить награду за это. При этом нет необходимости умалять достижение тех, кто не пропустил первый раунд.

p. s. you can still test DePool features for another month, and you may even get a reward for it. At the same time, there is no need to detract from the achievement of those who did not miss the first round.

How long will we go for constant indulgence?
This is contest. We know about it 9 days ago.
About 20 minutes need to prepare wallet and contracts.

Это баг условий конкурса, и самое главное что его нашли. Безусловно те кто успел заслуживают награду, но это уже про другое. Думаю все расчитывали свое время что б успеть до конца выборов, и вопрос сугобо к занятости человека, но это никак к конкурсу не относится, так как если б это было где-то прописано или хотя бы более очевидно, думаю активных депулов было бы раза в 2 больше. Так что ребята все молодцы ! Считаю справедливым пропустить первый цикл.
