Ukraine is one of the most active countries in the blockchain community. It was one of the first countries on the way of cryptocurrency adoption and decentralization technologies. And now we see an opportunity to establish a first truly fair and decentralized economic landscape.

As a regional community, we set to ourselves the task of employing blockchain technologies as a basis for the development of economic relations in the digital world. We see how such models can be implemented in digital decisions through fair voting, creating stable payment instruments, based on the Free TON blockchain, developing decentralized ways of economic cooperation. And boosting the development of applications that will be accepted not only by the blockchain community itself, but also beyond it, among the rest of the traditional economics.

From the legislation point of view, the ideas of the Ukrainian blockchain community have a chance to be embodied in a new and progressive “Law on digital assets”, which will give an impulse to the blockchain business development and wide areas of technology’ application.

And we decided to start with ourselves. The team of the Kuna Exchange, which was one of the first to introduce TON Crystal trading and integration, invested the funds and human resources to create the first national UAX stablecoin, which is already in place. We did it as our input in the growth.

Taking into all the above, we propose to create a Free TON Regional Economy Transformation Sub Governance for the following different areas of interest:

  • protect decentralization as a core value for the free people
  • create a showcase how blockchain can boost society and business development
  • implement UAX stablecoin as a mean of payment for different applications development and decentralized economic researches
  • develop legislation framework for the local authorities
  • support regional initiatives on the state level to promote Free TON and UAX as the tools for the decentralized economy
  • launch different contests and hackathons for the tools, infrastructure, and services based on UAX
  • grow the regional user base for UAX and other Free TON use cases and application
  • organize the community via on-chain Byzantine Fault Tolerant Governance

Команду Kuna очень часто просили сделать торговые пары Ton Crystal с биткоином, эфиром, гривной, USD. Но на эти просьбы полный игнор… а вы собрались какую-то экономику трансформировать, может сначала доработать и проработать то что есть ?

Вопрос в механизме price discovery, которого пока нет и (частично) в маркет-мейкерах по таким парам. Иначе несложно организовать неприкрытый арбитраж при тонких стаканах. Данный пропоузал направлен на другие задачи и не связан напрямую с Куна. Вопросы можно задавать мне, я лид проекта UAX.

  1. Для простоты ответа - да
  2. Это ютилити токен, представляющий эквивалент 1 гривны. Надо понимать, что денежные суррогаты запрещены, потому мы идем в сторону деривативов, которые более приспособлены для представления базовых активов. Разработка нормативки в процессе.

TIP-3 это как, в Ethereum стандарт токена ERC-20

так в ERC-20 мелкие суммы в 100 гривен и не переведешь, комиссия будет больше.

Эта система контрактов с расширенным функционалом, многое рассчитано на будущие интеграции с различными инфраструктурными компонентами, в т. ч. государственными

и то что все называют TIP-3 - не является аналогом того чем является ERC-20
TIP-3 это набор практик написания смарт контрактов токенов
Большая часть этих практик конечно же учтена в разработке UAX

Guys, if we are talking on UAX core idea - it is a double-layered asset. Initial supply is proof-of-reserve and backed with fiat to engage formal finance into decentralized. That’s why DeFi concept is not pretty suitable for UAX idea. And then that given supply can be used as a backed asset for different applications based on blockchain - loans, financial instruments, collaterals, escrow etc. And UAX is a core asset which we would like to use as a mean of exchange across the new approach to the regional economy transformation

Интересная команда получилась. Думаю Фри ТОН хорошо подойдет для криптогривны. На Фри ТОН сейчас мало ценных активов кроме кристаллов. По этому такие активы как криптогривна нужны экосистеме Фри ТОН.

Sounds like we’re going to promote third-party stablecoin on the costs of FreeTON. Why? Is UAX based on FreeTON environment in any way? Is UAX an use case of FreeTON? Which additional value brings UAX to our network? Subgovernance for promoting / supporting third-party coins? Well…

Secondly. What UAX guys think about that input: Ukraine taps Stellar to develop digital asset infrastructure, including CBDC framework? I wonder how you position yourself: as an alternative to this, as a competitor, or is it something completely different?

Thanks. As @isheldon can describe more detail, UAX is an open-source product. As I mentioned above, the UAX uses a mixed approach - proof-of-reserve as a source of liquidity and algorithmic for financial applications. That’s a key difference as well as we use the “delegated transfer” algorithm. So, our goal to attract liquidity to the FreeTON ecosystem via fiat gateway, because this approach is still dominated across the common finances.
About Stellar. I do not see it as a competitor, everyone has their own way. Particularly I’m not supporting CBDC ideas at all. For instance, I’m pretty blockchain agnostic, but FreeTON changed my mind. I’m very excited about the community and things going around. That’s why I supported idea to use FreeTON as a base for development and financial instruments implementation. UAX is just a very first step for future finance use cases. And yes, we would be happy if FreeTON support our efforts to use UAX as mean of stable payments.
