Users are paying on our websites for offers and then we issue a coupon with QR code which is presented to the partner. Partner is providing goods or service free of charge to the client and then we pay redeem payments to the partners.

It is very important to say that our gross margin is 0-20% from every offer. From this margin we pay our OPEX, CAPEX and other expenses. That is why we are always keen to be cost effective.

Grupovina is online since 2010.
Up to 2015 we were working in eCommerce and Marketing in Balkans and beyond,

We acquired Grupovina in 2016 with 180k users and since then we managed to get additional 300k users.

Initially our main focus were services (beauty salons, private clinics, education).

Starting from 2017 we acquired our competitors and in the end 2018 we managed an M&A deal with previous owners of popusti.rs which was the top1 daily deal website in Serbia.

We didn’t do invest a lot on instagram, we were testing hypothesis in order to develop 360 Digital Marketing for 2020-2025.

In a perfect world only by saying that we are a part of a FreeTON community would make the most innovative platform in Serbia and Balkans, and of the most innovative in SEE region and give us brand advantage.
But, we live in a real world where sometimes legislation occurs. That’s why we consider strategy where we will position TON Crystal as a part of our loyalty program.

As a part of our 2020-2030 strategy we divide propose do divide our partnership into several stages:

As a part of our corporate responsibility we don’t see it possible to just work in this beautiful country without helping people among us.

That is why in public beta we introduced a charity program to our users.

Each offer has an amount of Serbian dinars which we transfer to charity. All money donated to charity will be taken out of our revenue margin.

But we think that today just saying that we are giving to charity or transfer money is not enough. We believe in the power of choice.

That is why we give our users the opportunity to pick which charity fund they want to donate money from their purchases.

Once a month we will transfer money and provide proof of transfer on our website.

All funds are hand picked and we stand for our reputation. Please bare in mind that we exist since 2010 and our reputation is one of our main assets

  • Proposal

For each RSD given by us there would be 1 RSD backed by TON Crystals

For that we will dedicate one person to be responsible for detailed work with charities and we will make not just payments and reports but also we will work more closely with funds.

  • User Case

1. User adds offers to a basket

In an example provided user added following offer:

  • Medical test for Helicobacter Pylori from blood
  • COVID-19 Multy usage facial mask
  • 2 winter tyres replacement Total price (for all three offers) is 1660 RSD.
    Charity donation for this purchases is 25 RSD

2. User picks Charity fondation
In this case user Picked Zvoncica (tinker bell) - charity fund for kids with cancer.

That means that by the end of the month this 25 RSD with other money will go as one payment to them.

3. At the end of month Grupovina transfers money to Zvoncica fondation.

4. User will get email with notification that we transferred funds to zvoncica organisation saying that his amount was doubled by “backed up byCrystal Free TON Comunity.

Free TON community will actually save lives, give shelter, help people and make the world just a little bit better place.

4. Roadmap

As a part of our 2020-2030 strategy we divide propose do divide our partnership into several stages:

Stage 1 - Integration and testing [2020]

Stage 2 - Marketing in Serbia [2021]

Important: Currently this proposal is caped by Serbian Market. Grupovina strategy 2020-2030 is based on expansion to other markets.

If everything goes as planned in Serbia we will come back with toFree Ton community in order to request tokens for new markets, but also only based on our capabilities and legislation in those countries.

Dear all,
First of all excuse us for a delay in posting.
Last week on Black Friday we launched officially popusti.rs. Prior to that we tried to finalise all outstanding issues, but for us it was far more important to start rather to be perfect.
Due to difficult COVID times reaction was good but far from the reaction during normal times.
On monday on Gurpovina we had Cyber Monday.
Now when launch passed we plan to focus on development of loyalty system. We will keep you posted.

TON Crystal rate is going down day by day. What will you do if the TON Crystal rate is constantly less than 0.1 usd? Will your loyalty program work in such conditions?

Dear all,
First of all excuse me for a delay in response.
After approval we had a lot of work about legislation and designing back end of the loyalty system
Legal Framework
On our end we started work with lawyers team in order to define all aspects in legal field.
As some may know since January there is new law in Serbia so together with lawyers we reviewed our idea regarding multiple laws (taxation, bonuses etc.)
We asked that they provide us with some document which we can share with community.
On 8th Feb we got preliminary report that confirmed that our idea can be done in legal terms, but in order to issue final report they need to review it after it is done on our beta environment.

On other side integration of TON into Grupovina loyalty bonus is already in progress.
There is a lot of peculiarities, but we are working hard to solve them.
Currently in order to be compliant with regulation we need to make it as a bonus actions (not more than) 6 months.

Current situation:

  2. FreeTon Crystal/Bonus Points Exchange Rate - DONE
  3. Free Ton Crystal is a base loyalty bonus coin - DONE
  4. Codes to have Loyalty points as a gift - DONE
  5. Module that allows to get bonuses after purchase - IN PROGRESS 80%
  6. Bonus Assignment - IN PROGRESS 85%
  7. Transaction history - IN PROGRESS 90%
  8. User statuses - IN PROGRESS 40%

Our expectation is that we will need another 2-3 weeks of development (bonus assignment, User statuses, transactions history, etc.)
Then another 2 weeks for QA and final legal approval and new terms and conditions and other legal documents.

Stage 1 End ETA: 15-20 March.

Marketing
We are already preparing marketing strategy and Marketing plan which we will share with you.
Our idea is to promote our:

  • Partners
  • Categories
  • Our internal Campaigns

We will start Promotion via:

  • our email/push database
  • Digital Marketing
  • Outdoor Marketing (Busses, Trucks, Billboards)
  • Influencers

We plan to start Marketing during March.

Once again please excuse me for being absent, but there was a lot of things to be done. We will try to keep you updated from now on. For us it is extremely important to finish integration but also to be within legal framework, That us why loyalty system was changes multiple times.

That actually was one of most important issues that we were struggling with. How to make loyalty program based on Free Ton, but not be linked. That is why we have internal loyalty points which are presented in points and they are equal to the discount amount in RSD, but they are based on Free Ton Crystals.

We think we solve it together with out lawyers and dev team. :slight_smile:

HI everyone. I wanted to share update with you.
After a lot of work with lawyers, marketing team and developers we hope that we managed to find right ingredients for our joint loyalty program

  1. Work done:
    In order to meet both Marketing goals (additional discounts, bonuses without airdrops of TON, regulatory issues due to New regulations in Serbia) we are introducing:
  • Several internal accounts combined into one (both TON and non TON so we can provide airdrops from our side)
  • User Statuses (where some users are not eligible to perform 100% of purchases and some will based on their activity)
  • 9-18 euro airdrops from our company based on their purchases
    and other .

We finished technical integration of FREE TON and development of loyalty program.

  1. Currently our status is :

During beta testing we are:

  • polishing rules for different types of customers based on their statuses
  • reviewing work of integration with our account and payment modules due to additional discounts
  • conversion of loyalty dukats (old Serbian currency) to FREE TON and vice versa.

2. Marketing
We started 2 testing Marketing campaigns in order to see user reaction.

  1. Gifts when users reach silver status and their reaction (gifts are fully paid by grupovina)
  2. Outdoor Marketing
    Testing outdoor campaign with truck moving in the city center.
  3. Preparation of a massive marketing campaign according to the proposal

3. Legal
After detailed regulatory inspection our lawyers are preparing new terms and conditions for both websites including all of the above and GDPR complience.
