Hello! We want to participate in this contest. However, the time frame specified for the contest (only 2 weeks) is extremely short. This provides an overwhelming advantage for wiki projects that were created 1-2 months before the start of the contest.
This is not fair to the rest of the community who can and want to do and show their work for contest
Please consider extending the contest period to 8 weeks (until October 21). In this case, you will get more quality work. Thanks!
PS: We have a well-coordinated editorial team and we will be happy to take part in the contest if the time for it is extended

Hello, as an experienced web developer, I claim that it takes several hours to install a wiki engine on a domain. A wiki website can be launched in 1-2 days.

If you saw the contest with a delay, it means that only you were late. You don’t need to apply this to the entire community.

None of the terms of the contests will change after its launch, this is bad practice. Please forget to change the past.

Hi.
This proposal contest was posted 20 days ago. And before that it was discussed for a very long time. It takes a lot of time and effort to create a contest, agree on it and run it. And to postpone the dates even further - as a result, the contests stretch for months.

I support Mr. First’s proposal. Quality content is a very important aspect of Community development. It is good that there are groups already working on the wiki, but it is even better to give other users the opportunity to prove themselves. Competition is good in this case.

This wiki is powered by the freeton.wiki domain, which was first registered by me and then donated to Free TON.
Functionally complete and working website
Evaluation criteria: Functionally complete and working website using modern Wiki engine with the ability to register users, add and edit articles.
The Free TON Wiki website is powered by the Dokuwiki engine, which is modern, lightweight, and fast and constantly evolving (last stable release was July 29, 2020).
The Dokuwiki engine has excellent Wiki functionality and is almost in no way inferior to the most famous Mediawiki engine on which Wikipedia runs (comparison). Additional features in Dokuwiki can be added using plugins.
Of course, the existing website has full functionality for registering users with a personal account, assigning rights for users, adding and editing articles, and much more. A basic list of features can be found here.
The configuration of the deployed Free TON Wiki has been posted on Github.
In addition, the Free TON Wiki Sandbox was deployed to allow community members to conduct technical experiments, test new features, and more.

The Free TON Wiki supports over 50 languages (see Dokuwiki Features). The amazing feature of the engine is that it adds a new language instantly.
Here’s an example: A while ago, the community asked to add Turkish to the Wiki. This was done in the admin panel in minutes. And about half an hour later, a TOC page in Turkish appeared on the Wiki!
Design in the style of Free TON

First of all, I created the Free TON Wiki logo, which you can find at the top of this document. The logo is a pure Free TON crystal, in the center of which is the classic and well-recognized letter W, which can be seen on the Wikipedia logo.
There are several versions of the logo in inverse colors, as well as a slightly modified “international” version, to which a stylized globe has been added (see the avatar in the Wiki International chat).
The rest of the Free TON Wiki website design uses the classic Free TON crystal blue.

The structure of a Wiki is a table of contents for sections, subsections, and a hierarchy of articles that together form user-friendly navigation and make it easy to navigate within the Wiki.
The structure is a living thing and must adapt to the needs of the community. However, immediately after the creation of the website, it was necessary to create some basic structure that can be developed further. Of course, it was done.
These pages with the basic structure have already become history because so far there are so many new materials on the Wiki and the structure has undergone many changes.
However, the initial work can be seen in past page revisions. Here is one example of a start page revision for August 1, 2020. And here is a list of all the revisions of the start page (scroll to the beginning).
Adding articles to Wiki
Evaluation criteria: Adding articles to Wiki. Minimum 25 articles. More is better.
At the time of this submission, the Wiki was 124 pages long, including articles and tables of contents pages. The current number of pages can be seen here.
I would like to add with great gratitude that most of this content was created by the community.
At the time of launch, the Wiki contained about 30 pages. The exact number of pages in the first version of the Wiki is now impossible to determine because the content has changed many times, during which articles were created, supplemented, moved, merged, cut, etc.

С вами конкурировать не планирую. Вики создаю чисто для души (не только своей), чтобы можно было писать всецело об экосистеме TON.

My Free TON Wiki.
Dear community and jury members!
I present my vision of a wiki for FreeTON.
It is certainly difficult for me to compete with the site from the jury team. But still I will try.
I had basic skills in creating websites and there was not enough time to create such a serious resource. Therefore, I did everything I could in the allotted time.
The wiki is located at freeton.help.
The site uses a custom wiki engine based on CMS Drupal. It has the typical functionality of modern wiki engines and, in addition, has unlimited possibilities for further modernization of the structure and design of the site, thanks to the basic framework.
In general, the project meets the requirements specified in the assignment.
