Esports SG achieved significant results with 136420 Tons during the last four months. Next step is to gradually reduce expenses until we no longer need budgets from Givers. We plan to achieve this via implementing use cases for gamers on https://freetonleague.com and beyond. Free TON League winners will be motivated to spend Tons within the ecosystem so we can reuse them instead of asking for more budget. Eventually, we become self-sustaining, after that our next goal would be profitability.
This part of the budget is needed to continue Free TON League primary activity - tournaments. Withdrawal will be locked until we provide options for players to spend their prizes within our ecosystem.
Another part of the budget is needed to open 1st stages for incoming collaborations. For each collaboration, a separate proposal will be posted and discussed with the community. We are also going to stake an outstanding amount of TONs reserved for collaborations in order to decrease future budget requests.
Budget estimate
Prize pool - 26 000 Tons
Organization - 20 000 Tons

Collaborations - 150 000 Tons for 1st stages for incoming collaborations to bring use-cases
Contests for additional features, tools, and bots to handle esports sub-governance operations - 50 000 Tons

Esports SG achieved significant results with 136420 Tons during the last four months. Next step is to gradually reduce expenses until we no longer need budgets from Givers. We plan to achieve this via implementing use cases for gamers on https://freetonleague.com and find a unique value proposition for Free TON technology and develop a competition plan for entering the Esports market. Free TON League winners will be motivated to spend Tons within the ecosystem so we can reuse them instead of asking for more budget. Eventually, we will have predictable and structured expenses, and our next goal would be to reach break-even as fast as possible.
Plan
One part of the budget is needed to run series of Contests aimed to check the assumption that it is possible to bring value to the Esports industry and collect the best possible ideas on how can users and businesses benefit from Free TON smart-contract platform, Free Software, and community-driven culture.
We are going to run the mentioned Contest in multi-phase fashion. Following topics for 1st and 2nd phase are proposed:
Analyze current Esports ecosystem, especially its weakest points. Identify promising opportunities to compete with existing products.
MVP Implementation Phase: deliver services, tools and automation in order to help participants (gamers, audience, streamers, partners and sponsoring brands)
Another part of the budget is needed to open 1st Stage for >10 incoming collaborations and initiatives (more details are in @ushakovkirill’s recent forum post).
For each collaboration / Contest Phase, a separate proposal will be posted and discussed with the community.
Request
We request main governance for 260 000 to be sent in parts according to following step-by-step action plan:
Add new members in order to vote on future Esports SG Proposals and Contests
60 000 upfront - maximum estimated prize pool for a Contest described above
The 1st phase of the Contest completed. Participants are rewarded. Promising next steps are summarized and posted on the forum.
100 000 for running the 2nd Phase of Contest, accepting incoming Collaboration Proposals.
Vote on the collaboration proposal (at least 1) and finish the Integration Stage. The partner should provide on-chain KPIs in the proposal
100 000 for Stage 2 (KPIs to be listed by a collaborator in Stage 2 Request), Free TON League tournaments, and contests
In order to optimize spendings, we are also going to stake which are not used at the moment. Vesting and budget splitting practices will be used in distributions, however the exact structure depends on how the specific expense purpose is important and supported by the community.
